EMCEE SCRIPT FOR THE SFNHS’ 9th MOVING-UP CEREMONY 2024

Clod: Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare
it for today.

Joanna: Good afternoon and this is the 9th Moving Up Ceremony for the SY.: 2023 – 2024 with
the theme: “Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas”
(Filipino Youth: Building a Stronger Future for a New Philippines)
Clod: Ladies and Gentlemen, the Processional March. With so much cheer let us be bold and
proud the candidates for COMPLETION escorted by their parents.
Let us welcome the stakeholders in education – PTA Officials, Barangay Officials.
Let us give a hand to the pillars of education – the faculty and staff of San Fernandino
National High School.
Let us acknowledge the Deped Officials – the school head of San Fernandino National
High School, Terryfe D. Quirogra-Dragon, District In-Charge, Milke B. Cailing, Division
Personnel, all the secondary school heads of the district of Roseller T. Lim.
Let us show our delight to the guests and visitors for today’s event.

PROCESSIONAL MARCH

Grace: Let us show our deference by standing still for the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem. And to bless this momentous occasion, let us seek Divine Intervention through
putting our presence during the Invocation to be played via Multimedia
Presentation.Please remaain stanfing for the singing of the deped regional hymn and
zamboanga sibugay hym.

Clod: And today, we are gathered here to witness one of the most exciting moment in a
student’s life. This year’s completion ceremony will not be possible without the
relentless efforts of our cherished students, parent’s active involvement, and the
persistenceof our teachers and administrators, contributions made by the stakeholders
and especially the tenacity of our dear learners for reaching this height in their academc
journey in the JHS.

Grace: Today, signifies a time of completion, a successful end to an academic era culminating
with a ceremony, it certainly does not close the door on one school year and begins a
new one.

Clod: We are with you in celebrating one of the largest milestones in your academic life and a
history-legacy of San Fernandino National High School.

Grace: As Henry David Thoreau said, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live life
you’ve imagined!” I am Grace Sumalinog...

Clod: So, to start with, I just want to greet the people who grace the affair. To our dynamic,
supportive and great school administrator, our school head, Terryfe D. Quiroga-Dragon.
The epitome of an empowered individual, our District In-Charge, Milke B. Cailing. To our
brilliant, dedicated and also an empowered man, our Schools Division Superintendent,
Dr. Virgilio P. Batan, Jr. CESO V. The Division Personnel. The Faculty and Staff of San
Fernandino National High School. The school heads of the secondary schools in the
district of Roseller T. Lim. The candidates for completion, guests, parents, guardians,
visitors, ladies and gentlemen, a PLEASANT , WELCOMING AND JOYOUS MORNING
TO ALL OF US!

Grace: It is always a pleasure to have family and friends of SFNHS’ students visiting our
school. Welcoming you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our
candidates for completion for their achievement. To formally welcome us all, may we
call on GYLLIANE MAE S. HUGO, WITH HONORS!

Clod: The Completion Ceremony also provides an opportunity to recognize San Fernandino
National High School’s outstanding faculty and staff – who are dedicated to provdiong
the highest quality education and to making a positive difference in the lives of our
students. May I request the members (teachers) of faculty and staff of this school to
please rise. Ladies and Gentlemen, please join me in saluting our dear teachers with a
round of applause.

Grace: Despite the climatic phenomenon that hit us, the rising of the atmospheric temperature,
completing the 179 school days in face to face setting and in asynchronous learning
was never a blockade for these candidates for completion to pursue the prescribed
requirements in the K-12 curriculum. May we call on, GLADDYS B. AMOTAN, Teacher
III, the G10 Curriculum Chief for the presentation of candidates for completion. This is to
be followed by the acceptance of the School Head, Terryfe Q. Dragon. And the
confirmation by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Virgilio P. Batan, Jr. CESO V.
On behalf of the SDS, let us welcome ______________________.

Clod: Let us give our utmost felicitation to the completers of 2024. At this juncture, let us be
emboldened with the messages from the DepEd Secretary, Regional Director, SDS. To the
honor, let’s us all welcome Arlene B. Olmedo, HT-II for the reading of the messages.

READING OF THE MESSAGES

At this time, let us be inspired by our School Head, Terryfe Q. Dragon, through her
message.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

Grace: Dear completers, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The fruit of
hard work and discipline will be reaped. You will be now receiving your Certificate of
Completion, a symbol of accomplishment.

Grace: To finish a certain course or discipline is a breakthrough in a student’s life and it is just
right to celebrate their achievements. SFNHS put much importance on student’s hard-
earned success, both academic and non-academic. The following recognition is given to
students who exemplified the characteristics, virtues and values that led them to be
worthy of such credit.

Clod: This time is the awarding of medals and certificate of recognitions to students who have
excelled in their students and have been consistently earning their posts as one of the
of finest in their class. Let’s start...

READING THE LIST OF HONORS

Grace: Congratulations once again to the honor completers. I bet your parents are indeed so
proud of your achievements. No doubt of that, I’m sure!

At this point, let us be all ears to no less than the batch WITH HONORS herself as she
encapsulates everything the JHS life has to offerr. A big hand for RALYPH JOICE C.
MAGBUHOS for her address.

DELIVERY OF WORDS OF GRATITUDE

Clod: The batch of completers of 2024 would have not reached this far, if not because of the
people behind them. At this moment, the completerss would wish to take this
opportunity to THANK their parents/guardians, teaachers/adviser and one way or
another for the unending support. Ladies and Gentlemen, let us hear our completers
sing NANAY KO, TATAY KO and YOU ARE THE REASON

Clod: This momentouos and memorable would not become possible if not for the resources
being utilized and used – the human and physical resources – that need to recognized
and to thanked for. And now, let us all welcome CHERRY PEARL B. LABASAN for the
acknowledgement.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Clod: In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody and
infer emotions. With a round of applause, let us welcome the completers for their batch
theme song, entitled MOMENTS TURN TO MEMORIES.

Grace: This MOVING-UP ceremony has truly been noteworthy for everyone here.
Commencement is indeed a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending. However, it is
also a time of celebration of achievement and most importantly a beginning for the new
completers.

Clod: The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await
to our completers that will further their mettle as improving individuals. As they continue
with their journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride.
Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes the 9 th Completion Ceremony of San Fernandino
