Learning Points

The Simple Past Tense

You use the Simple Past tense to talk about events that are finished.

Simple Past tense verbs can be regular or irregular.


Regular verbs end in -ed or -ied.
Irregular verbs change in different ways.
For questions in the past, you use the auxiliary did followed by the verb in the base form,
like Did you ask ... ?
Did is the past form of to do.

The Future Tense

You use the Future tense to talk about actions in the future.

The auxiliary will goes before the verb. The short form is 'll.

You use the Future tense when you talk about intentions, make offers or make predictions.

Examples:
• I will finish the project soon.
• You will be responsible for educational outreach.
• We'll send the invitations.
