    JOB DESCRIPTION – Earth Pit Construction, Maintenance & Testing
    TEAM – CELMECH ENTERPRISE PRIVATE LIMITED
    SEQUENCE OF BASIC JOB POTENTIAL HAZARD SAFEGUARD/CONTROLS TO BE PUT IN PLACE RESPONSIBILITY
    STEPS
    1. Before going to job ensure to have all tools &
    tackles should be available in safe condition.
    All materials required for Earth Pit making with
    proper material challan.
    3. Use barricading tape, green, red flag.
    4. Conduct toolbox talk to educate the workers
    regarding the job & Use proper PPE. If new
    person joined the working group, then conduct
    tool box talk again among them.
    Job Preparation & Safety Contract Manpower
    Specific hazards related to area of work 5. Identification of six directional hazards

    around the working area by the help of concern
    dept. and discuss with all working team and take
    care of them. Arrange appropriate tools and
    equipment to perform job.
    6. Survey the digging area and check the
    certification of the vehicle and tools which are
    going to use in pit digging.
    Do not use mobile phone during work.

    1. Take proper relevant work permit (I.e.-


    excavation permit) from concerned dept.
