    Afilan 2DO Liquid
    Afilan 2 DO is highly efficient surface active agent with CAS number used as dedusting oil for all powdered
    dyestuffs except those soluble in oil.

    • Afilan 2 DO is Unique dedusting oil, free from APEO, NPEO and other derivatives.

    • Afilan 2 DO is a major deterrent to the dusting problem commonly found with many powdered
    dyestuffs.

    • Efficiently reduces the loss of the dyestuffs during the intermediate steps of manufacturing like
    blending.

    • The oil gets uniformly dispersed in the dye solution during dyeing.

    • Does not lead to patchy dyeing on textiles.

    Appearance Pale yellow clear liquid .

    Density 0.850 to 0.890.

    Emulsion stability Milky white emulsion with creamy layer stable for 24 Hrs.

    Scope of Application:-

    Afilan 2DO liquid is generally added to the dyestuff during the grinding or blending operations in amount
    varying from 0.5 % to 1.0 % on the weight of dyestuffs.

    In the dedusting application of disperse dyes, the oil is usually added in the ball mill. The concentrated dye
    and the diluents are mixed together and the mill is run for some time. Then slowly spray X % of oil and
    continue mixing.
    The quantity of oil added has to be determined separately for each dyestuff in production scale, as the
    conditions of production cannot be well reproduced in the laboratory scales.
