2.1 INTRODUCTION
An Online Health Care System is a software that connects doctors to patients. The doctor accepts
requests sent by patients. Patients pay a consultation fee after confirming the availability of the doctor.
The system is for Neema Hospital as the system is applicable for health institutions.
The Online Health Care is an automated system that is made up of PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and MYSQL for
the database. The main purpose of this Online Health Care system is to help improve and optimize all
the processes within the institution. This Online Health Care system has two sides, an admin and a user.

Health improvement can be done by preventing, proper diagnosis and treatment of diseases, illness,
injury and other physical and mental impairments in human beings. Health care is taken by health
professionals in associated health fields. Healthcare system delivers health care services to meet the
health of target populations. If anybody is ill and wants to visit a doctor for checkup, he or she needs to
search the best doctor for a particular disease. Finding the best respective doctor for a particular disease
manually is a tough task. This health information system helps to find respective specialist doctors for a
particular disease in the nearby location and also provides information and tips on how the disease can
be cured. This healthcare management system makes it easy to find the doctors, which helps the
patients to recover faster from the disease. This health information system has two modules namely,
Admin and Users. Admin can view the main keyword from the question asked by users, can manage
doctor by adding new doctor, updating doctors live information and deleting non-existing doctors.
Admin can also delete, update and add new diseases information and cure remedies. Users can ask
question regarding a particular disease and get the proper information related to the disease, cure

efficient management and exceptional patient care. The system features:
a.) Patient Administration System which consists of patient profile, pharmacy, catalogue, bed
management, registration, warehouse and inventory and online registration.
b.) Clinical which consists of critical care, diagnostic support, emergency, electronic medical
record, outpatient, operating theatre, delivery room and inpatient.
c.) IT Core under which lies analytics, configuration, security, data migration, dashboard, Dev
Ops, financial integration, LIS integration and RIS integration.
d.) Commercial consists of purchasing, patient billing, claim, tariff management and supplier.
