Description Installation
Kit includes entire valve plate assembly, gaskets, rubber o-ring 1. Unscrew six head bolts and remove old head and valve

3. Place the new valve plate, head and gaskets onto the
cylinder as shown. Make certain the two center holes are
aligned on all parts. No gasket sealant is required. The
brass ferrule and rubber o-ring must be installed between
the head and the valve plate assembly. Place the rubber o-
ring into the hole of the valve plate and then the brass
ferrule onto the o-ring. Then place the gasket, valve plate,
and head assembly on the cylinder. The brass ferrule and
o-ring will seal around the bolt when tightened down.
4. Insert the head bolts and torque each to 225 in-lbs.
Gradually tighten each bolt, following an X pattern.
