DEMON CALIBRATION DESCRIPTIONS
Demon Carburetion offers carburetors with
calibrations suited to particular race or performance
applications. Listed below are the initials identifying
the calibration and a brief description of each. The
carburetor’s calibration is identified by the last two or
three letters of the part number.

BC Blower Carburetors
These carburetors are calibrated to perform on top of Roots-style super-
chargers or other “draw-through” supercharged systems. The power valves
are externally boost-referenced and the fuel curve and metering circuits are
calibrated for optimal performance.

BM Blower Marine Carburetors


Similar to the BC Blower Series, the Blower Marine models have additional
“J” tubes installed as well as other modifications required to meet USCG
marine carburetor guidelines.

BT Blow-through Carburetors
The BT Series are calibrated to perform with Centrifugal superchargers and
turbochargers utilizing a bonnet to force the air through the carburetor into
the engine. All of the vacuum fittings are threaded and throttle shafts are
pressurized to avoid leaks. In addition, fuel curves and metering circuits are
calibrated for optimal performance.

DR Drag Race
The perfect choice for Bracket or Super Class drag cars, DR carburetors are
calibrated for single 4-barrel drag race engines. They are equipped with jet
extensions, clearanced floats, and specific fuel-curve calibrations to provide
a clean idle, crisp throttle response, consistent reaction times, and ETs.

GC General Competition
These carburetors are supplied with primary power valves (with backfire
protection) for good idle quality and driveabilty. They are the only Race
Demon carburetors with vacuum ports, making them a perfect choice
for street/strip applications.

DEMON CALIBRATION DESCRIPTIONS
OT Oval Track
The fuel curve and metering circuits of Demon oval track carburetors are
designed to give excellent throttle response and acceleration off the corners
as well as top-end performance by the flag stand, making them well-suited
for dirt or asphalt racing.

PS Pro Stock
These carburetors are designed as matched pairs to provide Pro-Stock racers
and Pro-Sportsman racers a baseline unit for tuning.

RR Road Race
Calibrated to handle the high G-force loadings of road racing, slalom
competition, and autocross events, the Demon Road Race carburetors also
provide excellent acceleration, throttle response and top-end acceleration.

SK Split King
These King Demon carburetors have been split in half for 2-barrel applica-
tions, allowing the engine builder to move the carburetors over the runners
(where allowed) to obtain better airflow and fuel distribution.

TM Traction Master
The Traction Master carburetors have the same features as the OT (Oval
Track) carburetors, but also include a unique quick-change throttle cam
system, which allows changes to the secondary throttle ratios for optimal
driver control in varying track conditions.

TR Tunnel Ram
These carburetors are calibrated to perform on 2x4 intake manifolds and are
mounted sideways for drag race applications. The fuel curve and metering circuits
are designed to give crisp throttle response and acceleration while maintaining even
fuel flow and air distribution.

The Race Demon 2-bbl carburetors are designed for oval track applications that require 2-bbl
carburetors with either 350 or 500 cfm ratings. These carburetors are specifically desinged to give
equal air flow and proper atomization of the fuel for restricted oval track engines. They are
available with or without replaceable air bleeds, emulsion bleeds and boosters.
The 500 cfm versions are also available in alcohol calibrations.
The RS Race Demon carburetors are designed for open competition Oval Track Classes that
allow different sized 2-bbl carburetors with replaceable air bleeds, emulsion bleeds,
boosters, and venturi sleeves.

The Road Demon Jr is an entry-level, general performance, four-barrel vacuum secondary carburetor.
It is designed to replace most standard, square-flange carburetors with a cam shaft duration less than
