KINDER MOVING-UP CEREMONY SCRIPT

I. ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE CEREMONY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN


EMCEE 1: A pleasant afternoon to one and all.

II. INTRODUCTION

EMCEE 2: The Moving-Up Ceremony holds a special significance in the life of every student, as it
marks the culmination of their academic efforts. As we draw near to the conclusion of the school year
2023-2024, we witness the unfolding of yet another chapter in history. Over the past nearly 10
months, we have observed how these students have demonstrated their abilities to earn their place in
this year's moving-up batch. It's time to bid farewell to the familiar and secure confines of
kindergarten and prepare to embark on the journey of elementary school life. Today is a day filled
with joy, pride, and accomplishment, a day when even the challenges of the cannot dampen our
spirits. To everyone present, we extend a warm welcome to the 5th Moving-Up Ceremony of
__________________ Elementary School, under the theme " Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na
Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas “

III. PROCESSIONAL MARCH

EMCEE 1: Ladies and Gentlemen, the PROCESSIONAL!

With pride and honor, let us welcome the Candidates for Moving-Up for School Year 2023-
2024.

EMCEE 2: Let us give a glad hand to the pillars of this institution, the ever vibrant and competent
faculty members of ____________ Elementary School.

IV. NATIONAL ANTHEM AND PRAYER

At this point, everyone is requested to stand to pay respect and honor to our flags. Ladies and
gentlemen, behold the entrance of colors.

EMCEE 1: Please remain standing as we pay tribute to our national flag through the singing of the
National Anthem to be led by __________________________

EMCEE 2: May I call on ___________________________ as we give thanks and ask blessings from
our Almighty Father.
You may now be seated.

EMCEE 1: Edward Everett Hale once said, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a
progress, working together is success.” Indeed, this affair would have not been possible without
everyone present today.

At this point, we simply wish to extend our greetings to the individuals who have honored us
with their presence at this event. To our esteemed and respected members of the academic
community, headed by our supportive School Principal, Mrs. __________________, as well as our
colleagues, graduating students, parents, guardians, visitors, friends, and esteemed guests, we bid you
a delightful, warm, and celebratory morning!

V. OPENING REMARKS

EMCEE 2: To set the tone for this morning’s event, may we have on the stage the school head of
exemplary performance, the woman who deliver the best of what we have seen through these years,
let us put our hands together for Ma’am ___________________ our School Principal, to give us the
Opening Remarks.

Thank you, Ma’am, for that heart-warming welcome speech!

VI. PRESENTATION AND CONFIRMATION OF CANDIDATES FOR MOVING-UP

EMCEE 1: And now, the main highlight of today’s affair is about to unfold. To do the honor of
presenting this year’s candidates for moving-up, may we have on stage the Kinder Leader,
_________________ to be followed right away by the acceptance and confirmation of the completers
by our school head, Mrs. ________________.

Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause to our Completers of batch 2024!

VII. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMAS AND AWARDS

EMCEE 2: Moving on! The most awaited moment – the fruit of hard work and discipline will finally
be earned.
A Certificate of Completion is the solid evidence of being a completer in a certain level of
education. This is now the product of each student’s effort. So, to do the honors of the distribution
of certificates of completion and awards to our young completers, may we have on the stage once
more, our Principal Ma’am _________________________ and other guest. May we have also Mrs.
________________ the class adviser

EMCEE 1: This commencement exercise has truly been noteworthy for everyone here. Moving –up
is indeed a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending; however, it is also a time of celebration of
achievement and most importantly a beginning for the new completers.

EMCEE 2: We are all proud of you! You worked hard, you succeeded, and now you should
celebrate! This day signifies a new beginning for each and every one of you. This program has now
come to its closing. Enjoy your day of celebration with your family and friends.

May we request everyone to please rise.
