ABSTRACT

As a part of curriculum, and for partial fulfillment of requirement for completion


of civil diploma.

From S.I.T POLYTECHNIC, YADRAV. I Pragat Devanand Pachore underwent an


industrial training.

For 45 days at SHREE RAM CONSTRUCTION. The report consists of brief study and
description of materials.

Equipment’s and procedure used at the site for construction.

The report contains my 45 days experience in the hosting company. All the
contains broadly explained.

And it is constructed from the practical basis of site.


OVERVIWE OF TRAINING
I got an experience about an on field practices. I.e. how to correct errors many more
things.

I got to know that the theoretical practical knowledge is having much more
difference.

If the combination of theory particle mix together then it would be great.

I got to know about how to retain man power how to retain them.

DAYWISE TRAINING DETAILS OF COMPANY

Day 1 –

 I went to the under developed site with engineer


 Engineer introduced me whit his site super wiser, mistris and all labors.
 I studied what is actual site clearance practically.
 The mistris showed me how to do Line out accurately on site.
 Day over.

Day 2 -

 The excavation work was started on the site.


 There were total 12 no footings.
 Then I checked actual area and depth with mistri.
 The depth required for footing was not sufficient there was error of 6” in 2
no. of footings.
 Day over

Day 3-
 The error was corrected which has been accrued.
 The water was got logged in excavated footing area.
 Then water was pumped out from the footing area all the 12 excavation
footings has been completed.
 Day over.

Day 4 –

 Discussed the volume of concrete.


 6 no of bags was been finalized.
 With the grade M20 batching of cement, sand and aggregate was done.
 Mixing of concrete was done and placing work was been started at
excavated footing area.
 Checked the thickness of P.C.C. on working drawing.
 All P.C.C. work was completed.
 Day over.

Day 5 –

 Cutting of TMT bars has been started.


 Binding of steel has been started for footing reinforcement and column
reinforcement.
 I studied the proper spacing of bars.
 Placed the reinforcement inside the footing and checked the lineout from
center line plan.
 From works was been placed on the casting area.
 All the footings where casted.
 Day over.

Day 6 –
 Starter the shuttering work of columns.
 Nut-bolts of shuttering has been tightened.
 Checked the levels of all sites with plumb bob as per the design 9” 15”
columns are casted.
 Day over.

Day 7 –

 Brick masonry was been started for foundations beams.


 The cement sand mortar prepared by taken ratio of 1:6.
 I checked level with plumb bob and line door.
 Masonry was completed.
 Day over.

Day 8 –

 Binding of reinforcement for beam was bee started.


 Placing of reinforcement was been done.
 Shuttering of beams was done.
 Casting of beams completed.
 Day over.

Day 9 –

 Removed the form work of beams.


 Filling work was started.
 Day over.

Day 10 –

 Filling work was going on.


 Day over.

Day 11 –
 Filling work was completed.
 Day over.

Day 12 –

 Rammering work of plinth was started.


 Rammering work was completed.
 Day over.

Day 13-

 Reinforcement was placed on the plinth level.


 Mixing of concrete was started. (With mixer)
 Placing of concrete was started.
 Checked the thickness of PCC at a time with tape.
 PCC work over.
 Day over.

Day 14 –

 Reinforcement was prepared for columns.


 Reinforcement where placed.
 Formworks where placed on the reinforcement.
 Day over.

Day 15 –

 Mixing of concrete was started.


 Placing of concrete started.
 Compaction was going on.
 Day over.

Day 16 –
 Removed all the formworks.
 Day over.

Day 17 –

 Set columns for curing process.


 Day over.

Day 18 –

 Brick masonry work started.


 Done all the tests on the bricks.
 Work was going on.
 Day over.

Day 19 –

 Brick masonry work was going on.


 Checked all the levels.
 Day over.

Day 20 –

 Brick masonry ended till 7 feet’s.


 Day over.

Day 21 -

 Reinforcement for lintel was prepared.


 Placed the reinforcement of lintel.
 Day over.

Day 22 –
 Formwork for lintel was placed.
 Placed the concrete in the formworks.
 Day over.

Day 23 –

 Removed the formworks.


 Day over.

Day 24 –

 Let the lintel for curing.


 Day over.

Day 25 –

 Inspection was done by engineers.


 Day over.

Day 26 –

 Brick masonry work started.


 Checked all levels.
 Day over.

Day 27 –

 Brick masonry was going on.


 Day over.

Day 28 –

 Brick masonry work ended.


 Day over.

Day 29 –

 Kept the masonry for curing.


 Day over.

Day 30 –

 Delivery of cement for slab was done.


 Formwork where been started cleaning.
 All the necessary work for slab was been done.
 Day over.

Day 31 –

 Constructing of formwork started.


 All the struts are placed vertically.
 All the plates are lubricated before placing.
 Day over.

Day 32 –

 Shuttering work was going on.


 All the gaps was been covered.
 Day over.

Day 33 –

 Shuttering work was been over.


 Are the gaps was been covered.
 All the levels was been checked.
 Day over.

Day 34 –

 Cutting of bars was started.


 Making of stirrups started.
 All the cutting work done.
 Day over.

Day 35 –

 Placing of bars started.


 Binding of reinforcement started.
 Day over.

Day 36 –

 Binding of reinforcement done.


 Day over.

Day 37 –

 Mixing of concrete started.


 Placing of concrete on slab started.
 Compaction was been done.
 Placing of slab over.
 Day over.

Day 38 –

 Removed the formworks of beams.


 Made the pond on the slab for curing.
 Day over.

Day 39 –

 After 21 days removed the formworks of slab.


 Day over.

Day 40 –
 Construction of parapet wall started.
 All the levels was been checked.
 Day over.

Day 41 –

 Construction of parapet walls over.


 Day over.

Day 42 –

 Plastering of walls started.


 Coping work was started.
 Day over.

Day 43 –

 Plastering work was going on.


 Coping work got over.
 Day over.

Day 44 –

 Took the last check.


 It was my last day on site.
 Day over.

Day 45 –

 Went to the engineer’s office.


 Told him my experience.
 Took leave.
 Day over.
