Term 1 Project Work – May (2024-25)
Class XI: Case study of any entrepreneurial venture in the
nearby area

General Instructions:

 The project contains a case study reports carrying 20 marks;


 The case study report must contain detailed analysis on an entrepreneur in the nearby area;
 You are expected to spend 15 hours on research and pre-work and creating a project document
in PDF/PREZI/ADOBE/Teamie ‘My Story’ or in any other creative format in Term 1;
 The project document covering the case study reports is to be submitted on 3rd July,2024;
 The body of case study Report should be of approximately 12-15 slides excluding additional
annexure, articles, etc.
 1 mark deducted for each day of late submission.
 Assessment of the project will be done using the rubrics appended to the project;
 We strongly recommend that you do a self-assessment based on the rubric before submission;

 Collection of the research material/data

 Analyzing the material/data for conclusion
 Draw the relevant conclusion

Project Guidelines

The learner should choose one enterprise which has gone through few highs and lows
and serves as a good base for researching about its history and current condition. The
main purpose is to go through the comprehensive journey of an enterprise to
understand the complex nature of adversities in the life of an entrepreneur and varied
solutions to overcome the adversities in the business world.

Preparation and submission of the final case study (approximately 12-15


slides)
Each Project work/Report must fulfill the following requirements:

1. The body of the Project Report should be of approximately 12-15 A4 slides excluding
additional annexure, articles, etc.
2. You need to make a project document in PDF/PREZI/ADOBE/Teamie/PPT ‘My Story’
or in any other creative format in Term 1.
3. The case study report should contain the following matter:
i) Cover page showing your project title, your name, school and session.
ii) List of contents.
iii) Acknowledgements and preface.
iv) Introduction to the case study problem.
v) Background of the company with its main features.
vi) The market position of the company in terms of consumer base, profits,
annual turnover, product ranges, peak time.

vii) The existence of the problem and what threat the company faced.
viii) Strategies adopted by the company to solve the problem.
ix) Analysis and conclusion that should include proposed solution to the problem.
x) Bibliography/ Appendix or other supporting material - This should include the
references to relevant books and other sources used for the study. The
appendix will include questionnaires, list of interviews, documents or other
material used in the study, if any.
