AIM: Write the steps to consolidate data of two sheets in Open Office Calc.

Descrip on:
In IT class, data consolida on involves gathering informa on from various sources
and bringing it all together. We use spreadsheets like LibreOffice Calc for this task.
Func ons like SUM, MIN, and MAX help us organize the data and perform
calcula ons. We clean up the data by removing duplicates and fixing errors.
Forma ng is crucial to make the informa on look neat and consistent. Data
valida on ensures that only the correct data is included in our dataset. Overall,
data consolida on in LibreOffice Calc helps us manage and understand large
volumes of informa on effec vely.
Methodology:
Step 1: Open a new file in Open Office Calc and write the following data:
First Quarter sales of year 2020

1 Cars Jan Feb Mar
2 Ferrari 156 178 189
3 Audi 245 268 256
4 BMW 348 368 364
Step 2: Open another file in Open Office Calc and write the following Data:
First Quarter sales of year 2021
A B C D
1 Cars Jan Feb Mar
2 Ferrari 189 208 215
3 Audi 356 312 356
4 BMW 412 478 458
Step 3: Open the third sheet and click on Data → Consolidate. The following dialog
box appear:
Step 4: Click to select Source data range of first sheet and then click on Add
bu on.
Step 5: A er adding Source data range from both the sheets, the dialog box will
appear like shown below:
Step 6: Click on the green bu on and select the Cell where you want the
consolidated data.
Step 7: A er adding both the range and selec ng the cell where we want the
result, click on OK bu on.
A er clicking OK bu on, we will get the consolidated data.
