filling up of vacancies of Assisstant

It is proposed to conduct selection for working in Level-1
Loco Pilot Level-2 against 50% dept. quota from the employees
and Level-2 of all department of Pune Division excluding RPF department
possessing the requisite educational & technical qualification,, fufilling the required
service condition and subsequent medical fitness.

Assessment of vacancies:
UR-25, SC-6 & ST-10 Total 41.

Eligibility conditions:
The eligibility criteria should be fulfilled ason date of issue of notification.
Railway Board vide letter dt. 08.04.2024, has given one time exemption for filling
up theshortfallin PQvacancies by calling applications from employees who fulfill
the requisite criteria laid down under GDCE including educational qualification and
subsequent medical fitness. The post of Assistant Loco Pilot in Level-2 against 50%
dept. quota will be filled as under
A) Educational Qualification- Matriculation/ SSC plus ITI from
recognized
institutions of NCVT/SCVT in trades of Fitter, Electrician, insrument
Mechanic, Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio &TV,
Electronice Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor
Mechanic,Armature &Coil winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Machinist,
Turner, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic.

Matriculation/SSC plus Course completed Act Apprenticeship in trades
mentioned above.

 B) 03 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ElectronicsAutomobile
Engineering (OR) combination of various streams of these Engineering
disciplines from arecognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
Note:- Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above willalso be
acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
i) Medical Standerad is A-1
ii) Age Limit UR-18 to 42, SC/ST 18 to 47.
ii) Aptitude Test: Those who are qualify the written exam will have to go
Aptitude test as a part of selection
iv) Initial training The empannelled candidates will have to undergo
prescribed initial training at ZRTI/BSL as well as filed training. Their
seniority will be assigned as per extent rules.
Selection:
Optionsfrom eligible and willingemployees in Level-1 and Level-2 working in
any department excluding RPF of Pune Division possessing the requisite educational
&technical qualification and fulfillingthe required service condition will be called for
filling of the post of ALP Level-2 against 50% dept.quota. Candidate should be a
regular employee of Pune Division on the date of issue of notification and having
two years non fortuitous service as on date of issue of Notification.
In terms Para3 of RBE No 113/2009 dt. 19.06.2009, in case of promotion to
Genreral posts in which candidates are called from different categories whether in
thesame department or from different departments and where zone of
consideration is not confined tothree times the nuber of staff to be empanelled,
panel should be strictly prepared as per merit with reference to marks obtained by
the candidates in professional ability and Record of service subject to usual
relaxation for SC/ST staff wherever permissible those securing less than 60% in
Professional abilty and 60% in aggregate will not be considered for inclusion in the
panel. Further the service record of only those candidates who secure a minimum of
60% marks in Professional ability shall be assessed since final panel has to be
drawn on the besis of merit there will be no scope for erstwhile provision of
placement of candudates tosecure 80% of more marks classified as outstanding on
the top of the panel. Since the post of ALP is safety category post there is no
relaxation for reserved community candidates.
Written Examination:-
As per Board's letter No E(NG)I/2018/PM1/4 dt. 14.12.2018 (RBE 196/2018)
circulated under PCPo/CSMT's letter No P/HQ/Ruling/o/803 dt. 19.12.2018 the
question paper will henceforth be 100% objective type. All the questions will be of
multiple choice only. Zero marks will be given for answer having correction/over
writing. 10% marks will on Rajbhasha (Official Language policy) which will be
optional. The examination will be conducted on OMR sheet or CBT. In terms of
Boards letter NO E(NG)I/2018/PM1/4 dt. 14.11.2019(RBE 194/2019)circulated
under PCPO/CSMT's letter no P/HQ/Ruling/o/803 dt. 28.11.2019 there will be
negative marking@ 1/3° mark for awrong answer.
