Guidelines for Effective Slides

• Title every slide


• Have one major message per slide
• Be consistent with the title of the slide
• Include only necessary information
• Avoid mega data slides

• Use correct English
• Avoid spelling mistakes

• Font size communicates importance


• Stick to one font with different sizes
and styles
• Font size should range between 18-48

• All capital letters are hard to read


• Use uppercase letters for first letter
• Avoid abbreviations
• Omit punctuation marks
