Micro Project Proposal

I. Introduction

It is essential to know fundamentals of digital electronics to understand the concept of


microprocessor and its applications. Microprocessor benefits to meet challenges of growing
applications of advanced microprocessors based technologies hence student are expected
to be conversant with components of microprocessors and microprocessor based
programming.

II. Aim

Prepare a report on study of microprocessor.

III. Course outcomes

a. Test the digital systems, Logic families and logic gates.


b. Construct combinational logic circuit.
c. Construct sequential logic circuit.
d. Use registers and instructions of 8086.
e. Develop assembly language programs using 8086.

IV. Literature review

Information related to the project will be taken from difference sources like websites,
various books related to the course.

V. Proposed Methodology

Procedure that we adopted during the completion of micro-project are as follows:


• Firstly, a discussion will be held with the group members on the topic prepare a
report on study of microprocessor.
• The topic will be divided into several subtopics and each and every group member
will be assigned one of them.
• A thorough research on the topic will be specified to the group members which
include all the key concepts related to it.
• All the subtopics get perfectly arranged into the specified format and all the
errors/mistakes committed was resolved.
• Finally, the copy submitted to the concerned course coordinator
