    Government Polytechnic Thane is a prime institute of Government of Maharashtra


    established in 1960, in the vicinity of Thane. The institute is administratively and financially
    supported by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The institute is
    affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and All India Council
    for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi.

    The MSBTE design and develop curriculum for Diploma courses and conduct the
    examinations. As a part of the MSBTE curriculum, second year students of the Diploma in
    Mechanical Engineering are required to undergo an industrial training of 6 weeks from 20 th
    May to 29th June 2024.

    Your participation in the skill development of our students as per I scheme of MSBTE
