 Upon analyzing the IPL data set provided using TABLEAU Public, the following
insights are presented as under:

1. The analysis of the IPL dataset has unveiled several compelling insights, highlighting
notable trends and performances among the eight participating teams. Sunrisers Hyderabad
has emerged as the standout team in terms of batting, boasting the highest average runs
scored at an impressive 187.66. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings faced challenges
in their batting performances, recording the lowest average runs at 166.33.

2. Moreover, a closer examination of viewership patterns revealed that matches won by Royal
Challengers Bangalore (RCB) garnered the highest viewership compared to matches won
by other teams. In contrast, matches won by Delhi Capitals (DC) recorded the lowest
viewership, indicating a significant disparity in fan engagement and support for RCB over
other teams. This highlights the strong fan base and widespread appeal of RCB in the
context of the IPL tournament.
3. Furthermore, the analysis of the ground locations indicated that the Bangalore pitch proved
to be the most favorable for scoring runs, boasting the highest average score of 189.75
among all the locations. In contrast, matches held in Mumbai witnessed a relatively lower
average score of 157.20, suggesting potential challenges or constraints related to the pitch
conditions that impacted the overall scoring trends during the IPL matches.

4. Finally, a comprehensive assessment of the overall team performance illustrated the


dominance of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bangalore,
each securing victories in five matches. Conversely, the performance of Delhi Capitals
(DC) fell behind, clinching victories in only one match. This discrepancy underscores the
consistent excellence of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and RCB, highlighting
their strategic proficiency and impressive showings throughout the IPL tournament
compared to other participating teams.
