1 OBJECTIVE

1.1 To ensure that trucks are appropriately used, and tracking is conducted
efficiently

2 RESPONSIBILITY

2.1 Transport controller


2.2 Warehouse manager
2.3 Truck Driver

3 METHOD

 At the start of each day, driver is handed a trip sheet document to complete
 Before leaving the facility with a load he will write down the following information:
Start location, end location, customer, D/N number, pallet QTY, ODO before,
dispatch time (ODO before – odometer reading before departure)
 After all necessary information is filled in, driver departures and heads to customer
location
 Once driver arrives at customer location, he writes down the following:
Arrival time and ODO after (ODO after – Odometer after departure)
 After driver is offloaded and closed, he gets customer security to sign the trip sheet
and he notes down his departure time from the customer to return to the
warehouse
 If he has one delivery the start and end location will be the same
 He will fill in customer and continue with his steps
 Once he arrives back at crusader, he will fill in ODO after to show his full travelling
distance and his arrival time
 At the end of the week the transport controller will request for a tracking report
from mix telematics to verify his trip sheet and cross reference the kilometers
 If there are any concerning deviations or suspicious activity the transport controller
will flag this to warehouse manager
 Warehouse manager to deal with Driver according after investigation is conducted
