PSYCHOLOGY Assignment 2
Part 1: Self-Reflection:
Reflect on your self-concept in the context of your academic and professional goals in computer
science. Consider your strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations, and relate them to basic
psychological concepts like self-esteem, self-image, and self-efficacy. Respond to the following
guiding questions:
Are there any areas where you feel you need improvement or development?
Yes, there are certain things I need to work on improving. My studies and projects' consistency is
one important aspect. My progress will depend on keeping a regular study plan and setting out
time to practice coding. I also want to work on improving my ability to interact with others and
increasing my self-confidence because these are important abilities for teamwork and
presentations in the workplace and in university as well. By overcoming these obstacles, I will be
able to cooperate with my group fellows and colleagues in professional world more easily and
effectively to express my thoughts and ideas.
1
How do you envision your future in the field of computer science, and what
aspirations do you have professionally?
When I think about my career in computer science, I picture myself being a successful web developer and
using my abilities to make creative, user-friendly websites. I hope to bridge the gap between technology
and healthcare and create impressive solutions. In terms of my career, I hope to be employed in a fast-
paced setting like GOOGLE and MICROSOFT. Where I can work with talented colleagues. I see Shafiqa
Iqbal as a motivation who made it to GOOGLE and worked there as a only Pakistani among 1300 others.
Consider how achieving this goal aligns with your self-concept and aspirations. Discuss your
motivation for pursuing this goal and outline specific steps you plan to take to achieve it. Respond
websites and to assemble a fundamental web application portfolio. With no prior computer science
knowledge and a pre-medical background, this goal is a first step toward becoming an experienced
web developer. Gaining a solid understanding of web development concepts and producing actual
projects would boost my confidence in the area and give me important practical experience.
2)What motivates you to pursue this goal, and why is it important to you?
My desire to be like my cousin, a successful full-stack developer at DevsInc., is what motivates me
to work toward this objective. Observing their success and the rewarding nature of their work
motivates me to make out an identity for myself in the web development industry. Additionally,
developing my web development abilities is essential to closing the knowledge gap between
computer science and my pre-medical background, which will eventually allow me to implement
technology into healthcare solutions. Reaching this objective will be a major turning point in my
quest to fulfill my career goals.

3)Outline the specific steps or actions you will take to work towards achieving
this goal.
Research and Learning: Set aside time to learn the principles of web development on your own,
covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.
Online Tutorials and Courses: To acquire organized learning and useful insights into web
development, sign up for online tutorials or courses.
Practical Application: Apply your theoretical knowledge and improve your problem-solving abilities
by taking part in coding challenges and mini-projects.
Build a Portfolio: Establish a website for my portfolio that highlights my accomplishments and shows
off my development as a web developer.
Seek Feedback: To get helpful criticism and advance my coding skills, I should work with peers,
mentors, or online group
4)How do you plan to overcome any challenges or obstacles that may arise
along the way?
Consistency: To keep learning and practice consistent, create a study schedule and realistic weekly goals.
Social Interaction: Participate in online coding communities and groups to meet people who share your
interests, exchange stories, and ask for advice when you need it.
Self-assurance: To gain confidence in presenting my ideas and projects, I should go to seminars or
workshops on speaking in public and presentation techniques.
Resilience is the ability to accept setbacks and failures as teaching moments, maintain motivation by
concentrating on long-term objectives, and see the advantages of developing web development abilities.
In conclusion, my short-term academic objective of studying web development fits with my idea of myself
as a devoted, hardworking person who is ready to advance in the field of computer science. With
dedication and determination to my goal, I hope to overcome Challenges.
