Job Description

The Team
The Global DBA Team at FlexTrade is a fast-growing team and vital function of our business. We are a
group of ‘get it done’ builders and visionaries that are client-focused and strategically minded.
Although we are a small team, we leverage our cross-functional expertise to deliver quality campaigns
to our stakeholders from strategy through execution.

About You

• You will need to support our High-Volume Real-Time Trading databases using MS SQL SERVER 2008
and above
• You will be responsible for all Production, QA and Dev databases on Windows Cluster environment.

Required Skills:

• Very good understanding of MSSQL architecture on Windows Cluster environment.

• Strong in install/upgrade/configure different versions of MSSQL servers on Windows Clusters.

• Should be able to tune the MSSQL servers for better performance.

• Very good at all the DBA tasks like creating databases, users, security policies, Backup/Restore etc.

• Manage the space allocation and monitor the Production servers 24/7

Experience:

• Experience in administering of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Very good in writing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Cursors etc.

• Troubleshoot and Tune the SQL procedures for better performance.

• Availability for nightly processes troubleshooting

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Experienced in MSSQL client and performance utilities such as Profiler, BCP, BULK INSERT, deployment tools,
etc.

• Batch ,Perl, Ksh scripting experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler is a plus.

• Equity trading experience is a plus.

• Must be able to meet deadlines, must be a team player.
