Hello, my name is Thavavasan, and I am excited to be here for this interview. I


am a 23-year-old who has successfully completed my higher educa on. I come
from a family of six, including my parents and four brothers, with two elder
brothers who are already established in their respec ve businesses, one in
photography and the other in construc on. My parents work hard to provide
for our family, with my father working in paddy elds and doing agriculture
based business and motorbike spare parts sale with my mother. As for myself, I
have a strong passion for learning and am eager to take the next step in my
academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor educa on at Bal c Interna onal

I considered several op ons for my higher studies, including other European
countries and India. While India is our neighbouring country, the educa on
system and overall experience is quite similar to what I have already
experienced in Sri Lanka. A er researching and seeking advice from my
friends and teachers, I found that studying in Latvia o ers a cost-e ec ve and
unique experience that I would not get elsewhere. Addi onally, Latvia has a
strong reputa on for providing high-quality educa on and a suppor ve
learning environment, which is why I ul mately chose to pursue my studies at
