WORK METHOD DOCUMENT

(MANUAL EXCAVATION)

INTRODUCTION
This method describe manual excavation works in general which is implemented in the project,

SCOPE OF WORK
Scope of work discuss in this method are

 Preparation of equipments and material


 Delivery to the field
 Survey and Marking
 Excavation and Planning Cycle

WORK METHOD
1. Conducting Toolbox Meeting by Supervisor to make sure all workers are informed about
today’s planned work before work started,

2. Submitting request for works and method of work to owner’s representative. After work
method approved, preparing equipment for mobilization,
3. Conduct site measurement and put marking to excavation boundary,

4. Using manual excavation equipment such as shovel, hoe and so on to do excavation.

5. After excavation, survey will need to verify level for excavation. After verified by survey,
excavation will consider done.
6. Excavation will start according to owner’s planned design priority and goes on.

Planning from Contractor :

Excavation Planning, description :

1. Excavation will start at corner foundation, and then will go through cycle as seen as in
picture,
2. After complete, pouring lantai kerja’s concrete inside foundation and then carry on to do
another foundation excavation,
3. Proceed excavation on another marked foundation, and partially doing excavation on tie
beam plan,
4. Puoring lantai kerja’s concrete inside tie beam and another foundation.
