ABSTRACT
When you start with a portrait and search for a pure form, a clear volume, through successive
eliminations, you arrive inevitably at the egg. Likewise, starting with the egg and following the same
process in reverse, one finishes with the portrait.

CHAPTER 1
1.1 INTRODUCTION
E-commerce is fast gaining ground as an accepted and used business paradigm. More and more business
houses are implementing web sites providing functionality for performing commercial transactions over
the web. It is reasonable to say that the process of shopping on the web is becoming commonplace.

The objective of this project is to develop a general purpose ecommerce store where products like Helen
Chair, Kruzo Aero Chair, Ergonomic Chair etc so on can be bought from the comfort of home through the
Internet. However, for implementation purposes, this paper will deal with an online shopping for Goods
or Products

An online store is a virtual store on the Internet where customers can browse the catalog and select
products of interest. The selected items may be collected in a shopping cart. At checkout time, the items
in the shopping cart will be presented as an order At that time, more information will be needed to
complete the transaction. Usually, the customer will be asked to fill or select a billing address, a shipping
address, a shipping option, and payment information such as credit card number as well as pay after
delivery etc. An e-mail notification is sent to the customer as soon as the orderis placed.

1.2 BENEFITS OF PRODUCTS

Faster buying process: Customers can spend less time shopping for what they want.
They can easily browse through many items at a time and buy what they like

Store and product listing creation: A product listing is what the customer sees when they
search for an item

Ion No reach limitations: A seller with a physical store may only be able to reach a certain
number of buyers. They can deliver to the customers’ homes but there can be distance limitations ∙

Faster response : Every interaction is faster when you begin selling online.

Increase sales: For businesses that sell digital goods, eCommerce allows the delivery of products
within seconds of making a purchase

24/7 Potential Income: An ecommerce store allows you to attract those who may have odd work
schedules or who don’t have time to shop in-person.
OBJECTIVE:
Reduce management costs.

Developing business relations

Providing a unique customer experience

Increasing the number of loyal customers

Increasing sales.
CHAPTER 2
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
2.1 OBJECTIVE
It is a process of collecting and interpreting facts, identifying the problems, and decomposition of a
system into its components.

System analysis is conducted for the purpose of studying a system or its parts in order to identify its
objectives. It is a problem solving technique that improves the system and ensures that all the components
of the system work efficiently to accomplish their purpose.

Analysis specifies what the system should do.

2.2 PHASES
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) mainly consists of the following 7 phases which can be
detailed: -

1. PRELIMINORY INVESTIGATION

2. FEASIBILITY STUDY

3. SYSTEM ANALYSIS

4. DESIGN

5. DEVELOPMENT /CODING

6. TESTING

7. IMPL EMENTATION/MAINTENANCE:
2.3 DATA FLOW DIAGRAM:
INTRODUCTION

DFD is an acronym for the word Data Flow Diagram. DFD is pictorial representation of the system. DFD
is a graphical representation of the ―flow of data through the information system. DFD are also used for
the visualization of data processing (structured design). ADFD provides no information about the timings
of the process, or about whether process will operate in parallel or sequence. DFD is an important
technique for modeling system’s high-level detail by showing how input details transformed to output
results through a sequence of functional transformations. DFD

USE OF DFD

The main uses of data flow diagrams are as follows: -

DFD is a method of choice for representation of showing of information through a system because of
the following reasons :-

DFDs areeasierto understand by technical and non-technical audiences.

CHAPTER 3
SOFTWARE REQUIRMENT SPECIFICATION

A requirements specification for a software system is a complete description of the behavior of a system
to be developed and it includes a set of use cases that describe all the interactions the users will have with
the software. In addition to use cases, the SRS also contains non-functional requirements.

Non-functional requirements are requirements which impose constraints on the design or implementation
(such as performance engineering requirements, quality standards, or design constraints).Requirements
are a sub-field of software engineering that deals with the elicitation, analysis, specification, and
validation of requirements for software. The software requirement specification document enlists all
necessary requirements for project development. To derive the requirements we need to have clear and
thorough understanding of the products to be developed. This is prepared after detailed communications
with project team and the customer.

make a group of programmer. A Group is a social unit of any size that shares common values, ideas and
code and queries. The portal doesn’t have to be expensive. It support multiple .programmer goals.

- Contains essential files and folders directly accessible when the CD is inserted into a computer.

- May include an autorun.inf file for automatic launching of installation or setup.

2. Setup or Installation Folder:

- Contains executable files (.exe) or installation packages for installing the software onto the user's
computer.

- May include additional folders for different versions (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) or languages.

3. Documentation Folder:

- Contains user manuals, guides, release notes, or other documentation in digital format (PDF, HTML,
etc.).

- Documentation may cover installation instructions, usage guidelines, troubleshooting tips, and other
relevant information.

4. Support Folder:

- Contains contact information, FAQs, support forums, or links to online resources for technical
assistance or customer support.

5. License Agreement:

- Contains the End-User License Agreement (EULA) outlining the terms and conditions for using the
software.

6. Extras or Bonus Conten
