Experiences
Being a student teacher in elementary school has been fun, especially when teaching
multiplication with flashcards and drills! My mentor teacher has been a great guide. We create
exciting lessons where students practice their multiplication skills using flashcards. It's like a game
where they try to answer quickly and correctly. We make it even more fun by setting up challenges or
competitions to see who can answer the most questions. If some students find it hard, I work with
them one-on-one, using simpler examples or extra practice. Talking with other teachers also helps me
get new ideas to make learning math even more enjoyable. It's been a great experience preparing to
teach multiplication to kids!

Experiences
In managing classroom structure and activities, I've learned the importance of setting up a
consistent routine. For example, every morning, we start our day with a quick review of the previous
lesson. Then, we move on to a short group activity or discussion to warm up our brains. After that, I will
introduce the day's topic using a PowerPoint presentation with colorful visuals and examples. Throughout
the lesson, I incorporate interactive elements like YouTube video clips or flashcards to keep students
engaged and reinforce key concepts. We also have designated times for individual work, partner
activities, and whole-class discussions. By following this structured routine, students know what to expect
each day, and transitions between activities are smoother, allowing for maximum learning time.

Reflections
Reflecting on how I manage the classroom, I've learned that having a routine and staying
flexible helps us learn better. Using different activities and being open to change makes our
learning experience fun and engaging.
Domain 3 Diversity of Learners Experiences
Experiences
I learn how to help every student feel happy and included in our class, like making sure everyone gets a
chance to join in our games and activities. I learn to understand and support each student's unique needs, like
helping a shy student gain confidence by giving them opportunities to share their ideas with the class.
Evidence
Group activities help them learn new things, like hearing their classmates' ideas and opinions, which
add to what they already know. Plus, they help them make friends and talk to other kids, which is cool!
Reflections
I realized that when we do things together in groups, we can learn from each other
and make new friends, which makes school more fun! It's cool to see how we all help
each other and grow together.
Domain 4 Curriculum Planning Experiences
Experience
In my experience, planning lessons that fit what students need has been cool. When I make
activities fun, they get more interested in learning. Checking how they're doing helps me see if they're
getting it, and it's awesome to see them improve.
Evidence
Before I go to teach, my cooperating teacher told me that I can't teach without my lesson
plan. This advice was echoed by both public and private school teachers.

Experience
In my experience teaching third grade, I learned the importance of being patient and
understanding when checking students' papers. There were instances where students forgot to write their
names, which made it difficult to record their grades accurately. Despite feeling frustrated initially, I
realized the significance of being empathetic towards the students and addressing the issue with care to
ensure a positive learning environment.

Reflections
Thinking back on teaching third grade, I've learned it's important to be patient and
understanding. Sometimes students forget to write their names on their papers, which can be
frustrating. But I've realized it's important to stay calm and help them learn from their mistakes in a
supportive way.

Experiences
During the classroom-based action research seminar led by Mr. Genesis T. Roman, LPT,
I learned about the importance of action research in improving teaching and learning. The
seminar taught me how to create a research plan specific to my classroom challenges, and how to
conduct research step by step. I also learned how to choose the right research methods.

Reflections
Participating in a classroom-based action research seminar was an enlightening experience
for me. I gained valuable insights into the significance of action research in improving teaching and
learning processes.
Domain 7 Personal Growth and Professional Development
Experience
During my time as a student teacher, I learned many valuable skills and gained knowledge
that helped me grow personally. One of the most important things I learned was how to be an
effective teacher. I discovered how to plan and teach lessons in a way that really made a difference
for my students. I also learned how to adapt my teaching to meet the needs of different learners and
use different methods to keep students engaged and excited about learning. These skills have been
crucial in my personal development as an educator.

Reflections
"Learning is continuing." I've chosen this philosophy because I believe that as a teacher, even
if you're not a student yourself, you still need to keep learning, especially for your students. Even if
you're already a teacher, you need to study your lessons in preparation for teaching. For example, if your
students ask about certain topics, being prepared allows you to answer their questions confidently.
