I think it is important to get enough sleep, do sports, eat healthy food, drink enough liquid, have a
healthy and positive way of thinking. Meeting people, spending time in useful way, maintaining the
flexibility of our body, keeping physically fit or preventing illnesses are also part of a balanced life. We
are not supposed to drink alcoholic drinks. Greasy food or smoking should be avoided as well.
I think doing sports generally makes us fitter, physically more flexible and healthier. We can also
develop greater endurance and strength. I’ve heard doing sports makes us more resistant to illnesses
or diseases. I’ve learned respect other people more, work in team and be hard-working.
For me washing myself, taking a shower, brushing my teeth and using cosmetic products are part of
personal hygiene. Going to the dentist and doctor on a regular basis is also very important for me. I
use different kinds of cosmetic products like hair products or body lotions.
What do you think is a good diet? What is healthy and what is unhealthy?
To eat the right way we need to have vegetables, fruits, poultry, high fibre foods, vitamins, cereals
and dairy products on a daily basis. Our meals should countain as little fat, salt, sugar, food colourings
or preservatives as possible. We shouldn’t nibble all the time, so we should avoid crisps, nuts,
chocolate or sweets.
