Total Area available: 46,560 ft2

Tentative facilities required:

• Reception area (including waiting area common)

• Executive waiting room
• Cafeteria/ canteen
• Laboratory room with proper ventilation where bomb calorimeter and
thermogravimetric analyser is to be installed
• Additional laboratory for future expansions
• Technology gallery (3D & physical models)
• Conference hall 1 (100 occupancy)
• Training rooms 2-3 (30-40 persons)
• 1-2 meeting rooms at each floor (7-8 person occupancy)
• Library
• Stores
• Administrative & finance section (to be take care by existing PSCST staff)
• IT / server room
• Security
• Guest rooms with attached washroom (4rooms) and 2 executive/ luxury rooms
• Executive Dining room for 20
• Total number of 50 employees max (25-30 fixed/ permanent staff and about 25-30
project staff)
o Deputy Director/ Senior Scientific Officer : 5-6 (exclusive office space)
o Assistant Director/ Scientific Officer: 5-6
o Junior Scientific Officer: 5-6
o Maintenance engineer: 1
o System supervisor: 1
o Multi Task operator: 5
o Field Assistant: 4
o Housekeeping, security, horticulture etc.
o Administration & accounts
o AD/JD/ PSO from PSCST to overlook the verticals in CRIPTA (3-4 exclusive rooms
may be provided)
o About 25-30 project staff which may be hired under sponsored projects

o Technology Facilitation Division-TFD (15-20)
 o Research, Innovation & Startup Facilitation Division (15-20)
o STI Translational & Facilitation Division (5-10)
