1 About Software Library

The Software library of the Hitachi Energy holds different kinds of software’s for Power grid automation and communi-
cation business unit portfolio. The software library is having both licensed and free software’s. In this article we shall
see the steps to install the PCM600 software from software library.

2 Steps to download PCM600 from software library.

The PCM600 is a Power grid automation and communication business unit software which is used to communicate with
the Intelligent Electronic Device (IED).

The steps to download the PCM600 software from the software library is given below.

2.1 Login to the Software Library Web page (Step 1):

Click on to the above given link and then a web page will open as like below,

2.2 Using of Organizational Credential for access/register (Step 2):

In the Log in page, Internal employees can directly give their organizational mail id in the field and then click on to the
“SIGN IN” option.

For External/Non-Hitachi Energy Users, their own organization id/personal mail id can be given at the time of account
registration.

2.3 Access to Library – After validation (Step 3):

Once the login is successful with organizational mail id. Then a new window will open as like below, which shows all
the available contents of the software library.

2.4 Selection of Product (Step 4):

From the available software’s, identify the PCM600 software which is dedicatedly used for configuring the IED and then,
click on to the “PCM600 2.11 Installation Package”.

2.5 File Request (Step 5):

After clicking on to the “PCM600 2.11 Installation Package”, a new window will open will requires the email validation
and clicking on the “REQUEST FILE” option will send the link to download the software to the registered email address.

2.6 Email for accessing the Software (Step 6):

After receiving an email link in mail, then mail content will look like below. Then click on the hyperlink available in the
mail, which will initiate the PCM600 software download.
