Roles and Responsibilities:
• Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site
works with regards to HVAC services and report to the project Director on the same.
• Coordinating with internal team and external Architects as per the project requirement.
• Learned practically a lot of techniques like casting, traditional non-traditional
machining, advance manufacturing, welding technologies, fabrication, thermal
treatments, CNC works, etc.
• In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the HVAC
documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor
the same.
• Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or
general project to the Project manager.
• Preparing the Material Take-Off quantities with reference to IFC Dwg & BOQ.
• Preparing the material submittals as per the project specification and BOQ and getting
approval Material Order and follow ups.
• Preparing the shop drawing as per the site condition & submitting to consultant for
Approval
• Ensuring the drawings available at site are the latest Revision & information from
Consultant / Client
• Coordinating and managing the Vendors /Architects/Consultant and other team players
• Ensuring the project resources requirement maintain for efficient execution of project
and services.
• Ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the contract drawings, agreed
procedures & Method statements.
• Attending the weekly meetings discussing any concerns about the project
activities/Material orders with client/Consultant and mention in MOM and follow up.
• Conversion of Revit models to other formats such as DWG, DWF, NWF and PDF
• Reviewing the design /shop drawing.
• Maintaining Documentation & Records throughout the life cycle of the project
• Verify, review, record data for the tests carried out on equipment’s during Testing &
Commissioning
• Managing ‘handing over stage’ to client by reviewing for correctness of as built drawings,
product submittals, O&M manuals.
• Ensuring documents required for auditing are available to the satisfaction of the
project’s Auditor & subsequent close out of the project.
• Assist Project Manager to prepare project reports
• Site inspection and co-ordinate to construction to implement the work completed in
complies with code in accordance with specification. Coordinate inspections with
Consultant / Client and to communicate with project team.
• Maintaining a log and visiting store with consultant for permanent material inspection
• Coordinating for internal quality audit.
• Conduct daily site inspection and control the quality of installation for Mechanical,
HVAC systems
• Attend coordination meeting with client, main contractor, specialist contractors to
discuss technical issues, clarification arising problems and solution on site.
