An implicit interest since my school days has mesmerized me with computer technology. My
thirst towards knowledge kept increasing, which made me choose computer science engineering
as my major field of study, which I desire the most. Choosing science as a main stream in pre
University College has sheltered me the strong basics of physics and mathematics, which plays a
paramount part of an undergraduate curriculum. Further by securing distinction at pre-university
level made it much easier to get an admission in the computer engineering department at ‘Gitam
University, which is one of the most prestigious institutions in India. Though my low CGPA, as
a student, I enjoy growing in practical/theoretical knowledge each day. I feel that I learn best in
an atmosphere that is nurturing, but which also has enough elements of competition to make it
challenging. I like to understand the reasoning and logic behind everything I encounter or
experience. It has also encouraged me to believe that I can do better each time.
I chose my final year project titled as under the guidance of SVS Santhi. In this project,
Understanding/analyzing requirements, designing and implementing with effective and efficient
coding practices, maintaining and customization of data and applications, preparing
documentations greatly improved my skills of technical analysis, design and logic as well as
software development life cycle. By working on this project and providing technical
development within a time constraint helped me gain my knowledge about data analytics and
quality as well as time management. A deep contemplation has widened my horizons, explored
compute science and techniques and this has induced my interest to pursue for higher studies.
One of the things that I enjoy most in life is to experience and learn new things. This has found
reflection in the myriad activities and I published a paper on “Privacy Preserving Encryption
against Untrusted Servers” in December 2016 issue (Volume 3, Issue 12) in International
Journal & Magazine of Engineering, Technology, Management and Research(IJMETMR)
along with my other friends.
Attending many talks in during technical feat and seminars have helped me to be aware of the
state of the art techniques and technology being used or proposed. I am a member of IEEE.
I organized Jollity event in Impulse 2016 conducted by IEEE in GITAM University. Aside from
academic pursuits, I dabble in various sports - a result of being both badminton, football and
driven by a fierce competitive spirit. I even have a good knack of handling the limelight in
instances like stage performances. Even amongst peers, I naturally assume leadership position.
In the international arena USA universities have an excellent reputation. They represent
innovation, management, technology, quality and is one of the most highly developed and
efficient industrial nations. I wish to pursue graduate studies in USA, as there is much scope for
computer science engineering and I will always keep my mind open for all the future potential
challenges in my path of education. I hope that my strong knowledge of computer science
engineering coupled with my knowledge in data mining would match the diversity and the
standard of the students in your department. I am enthralled to meet and learn something new
from your distinguished faculty at your excellent university infrastructure.
