    CO1 DOS and WINDOWS Operating Systems


    CO2 BIOS Setup and Up gradation of RAM
    CO3 Installation of OS

    LIST OF EXPERIMENTS

    1. Practice on DOS Internal and External commands.


    2. Exercise on creation of folders and organizing files in different folders
    3. Exercise on use of Recycle Bin
    4. Exercise on creation of shortcut to files and folders (in other folders) on Desktop
    5. Exercise on arranging of icons - name wise, size, type, Date Modified
    6. Exercise on searching of files and folders
    7. Exercise on organizing files / folders using copy and paste
    8. Describe installing and uninstalling software like Ms-office using control panel
    9. Explain installing and uninstalling hardware using control panel
    10. Narrate finding out drive space using system tool option of Accessories group
    11. Explain the procedure of disk defragmentation using System tools
    12. Narrate installing a printer using control panel
    13. Change resolution, colour, appearance, screen server options of Display
    14. Change the system date and time.
    15. Identify the various components of a Computer System
    16. Know the configuration of a computer system
    17. Exercise on BIOS setup
    18. Explain the procedure to upgrade RAM capacity of the system by adding additional RAMs
    19. Practice on formatting a hard disk using FAT/NTFS Format.
    20. Installation of operating system software.
    21. Practice on how to create a bootable Disk / Pendrive.
