Introduction
Job Title: Operation Engineer
Business Line: Asset Based Non-Drilling
Department: Operations
Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or
a related field.
Knowledge of the English Language: Yes
Labour Relationship: Permanent Contract
Years of Experience: 5 minimum in Operations role within the Oil & Gas
Industry
It Skills: Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Microsoft
Project or similar), SAP Knowledge
Soft Skills: Verbal /Written/ Interpersonal/ Problem
Solving/Analytical/Leadership
Nice To Have: N/A
Location: Georgetown/ Vreed – en - Hoop

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


• Mobilization, demobilization load-out, preparation, and execution.
• Preparation, refurbishment, maintenance and certification of IA (rigging, structures,
buoys…).
• Subcontractor coordination; gather equipment, prepare and test mobilization.
• Coordinate with PLOG team, communicate and check storage and preservation conditions,
run inventory checks and support clarifications.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to procure required material and
equipment for operations.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of operations, identify and implement improvements to
enhance productivity and safety.
• Coordinate with field personnel to implement operational plans and projects.
• Develop and oversee the execution of maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment
operate at peak efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to operational emergencies and lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality
control to align operations with overall company goals.
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff on new processes and technologies.
• Any other duties as assigned.
