FutureSkills4All Initiative
#FutureSkills4All
Overview
This document serves as a comprehensive guide for beneficiaries interested in enrolling in the upskilling and reskilling
programme launched by the UNDP’s Knowledge Project, providing them with the necessary information to make informed
decisions and successfully navigate the mobilization process. This document outlines the enrolment mechanisms and
provides detailed information about the tracks and pathways covered within the programme, as well as the timeline for
enrolment. Three broad skills categories are identified within this initiative: Transferable Skills; Entrepreneurial Skills; and
Hard Skills.
With the aim of allowing learners to specialize within a broader field of study, one learning pathway will be allocated to
each individual within the above three tracks. This approach is designed to provide learners with a focused expertise
while still ensuring they have a well-defined area of concentration.
The selected pathway within these categories can be also coupled with an ‘Industry focus’ track (sometimes referred to
as sector-specific track). The latter is optional and can be combined with the pathway selected by the learner.

General Terms
To ensure entities and learners make the most of their learning experiences and upskilling projects, it is important to
acquire a clear understanding of how our learning licenses work.
Each license allocated is designed to support the learning needs of your organization and is structured to be used
effectively by your learners.
Your learning licenses are not limited to a single use. Instead, they can be utilized on a successive basis, allowing you to
maximize their value. This means that as one group of learners completes their training or learning pathway, the license
can then be transferred to another group or cohort within your organization.
We encourage entities to organize their target learners into cohorts based on specific training or learning pathway
duration. When one cohort completes their learning journey, the license can be reallocated to the next cohort, ensuring
that your licenses are efficiently utilized.
This approach enables you to stretch the value of your learning licenses and accommodate various groups of learners over
time, making your investment in learning resources more cost-effective.
Should you have any questions about how to manage and allocate your learning licenses effectively within your
organization, or if you need assistance with the logistics of cohort-based learning, please do not hesitate to reach out to
our support team via [email protected].

Enrolment
Beneficiaries can register for the FutureSkills4All initiative through two distinct pipelines:
1. The partner agency can nominate learners for the initiative as a whole; without assigning a specific learning
pathway to every learner. Should the partner agency opt for this scheme, the nominated learners will be
invited to enrol in the skilling programme by completing a registration form. The form will help depict the
exact needs of the learner and the needed pathway is offered.
2. The partner agency can directly assign each of the nominated learners to a specific learning pathway. In this
case, learners will automatically be invited to enrol in the skilling programme based on the pathway they have
been assigned without having to fill a registration form.
It is important to note that each company acquiring learning licenses will be provided with a finite and
predetermined number of licenses, constituting their initial allocation. If the company requires additional
licenses beyond this allocation, they may submit a formal request via email to the designated licensing authority.
These requests for supplementary licenses will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and
the terms of the licensing agreement.
It is important to note also that administrative access and back-end monitoring capabilities may not be
automatically granted to the entity for which licenses are allocated.
B- Direct enrolment
In this scheme, learners have the option to directly enrol in the skilling initiative without the need for nomination
by a partner agency. This approach allows for a more open and accessible enrolment process, attracting a diverse
range of individuals seeking skill development opportunities.
Learners interested in acquiring new skills or enhancing existing ones can directly sign up for the programme
through the initiative’s website www.knowledge4all.org.
Interested individuals will have to complete the registration form, which typically involves providing personal
information, contact details, and their educational or employment history.
The latter will help determine their current skill levels and areas in which they seek improvement and will help
tailor the skilling programme to individual needs. Learners will be asked to choose from a variety of available
pathways or modules that align with their career goals or areas of interest.
