    MATERIALS GAUGE AND SIZING
    Yarn 6.5sts by 9.5 rows on a 4x4"
    I used a super bulky to jumbo (10x10cm) swatch in
    weight yarn like Ice Yarns
    Superwash Wool Chunky or Red stockinette.
    Heart Grande. You'll need 200 to
    400 yards (180 to 360 m) Sizing
    depending on your chosen size. Includes sizing for sizes 2T to 5XL
    written like this:
    Needle 2T-4T (6yrs-9yrs, XS/M, L/2XL,
    15mm (US 19) circular needles 3XL/5XL )
    long enough to accomodate the
    number of sts. (worked flat) There is also a sizing chart on pg4.

    OVERVIEW
    This cardigan is made from one big square of stockinette. You'll cast on
    the number of stitches indicated on the sizing chart for your target size.
    Then knit the right side and purl the wrong side until you have a roughly
    square piece and bind off. The sleeves are created by seaming the
    square in a special way illustrated on page 5 and in this handy YouTube
    video.
    Pattern
    Using the long tail cast on method, cast on the number
    of stitches indicated on the sizing chart below for
    your target size.
    Row 1 (ws): Purl all stitches
    Row 2 (rs): Knit all stitches
    Repeat rows 1+2 until your piece is as long as it is
    wide. 58 (68, 84, 96, 106) rows.
    Bind off.
    Optional Selvedge
    You may want to work the sleeve edge stitches
    differently for a more finished look.
    To do this, work the first 16 (20, 24, 30, 32) rows
    normally. Then work a selvedge edge by slipping the
    first stitch of each row for 26 (28, 36, 36, 42)rows,
    then work all sts of the last 16 (20, 24, 30, 32) rows
    normally.
    This is totally optional because the edges will curl
    naturally so the stockinette edge will likely wind up
    slightly hidden anyway.

    Fold your square in half.

    Fold

    Mattress stitch to seam up from the bottom corners towards the fold
    line. Seam 16 (20, 24, 30, 32) rows (7, ((8.5, 10, 12.5, 13.5))inches)
