PLANMECA PROX intraoral x-ray unit

Introduction
Planmeca ProX is a microprocessor-
controlled intra-oral x-ray with high
frequency operated x-ray generator.
Planmeca ProX has 66 pre-programmable
exposure parameters for quick and easy
operation. Kilovoltage is adjustable between
60 – 70 kV and milliamperes are adjustable
from 2 – 8 mA for the optimum contrast and
density of the different objects. The
exposure time is selectable between 0.01 –
2.0 sec. in 24 visually detectable density
steps. For different film sensitivities there are
11 density steps for constant image density.
The small focal spot provides the high image
sharpness with a minimum distortion.
Main features
 Easy and accurate positioning, steady
arm with smooth action, very light weight
and compact size
 Very long reach (203 cm)
 Hygienic surfaces
