A. Introductory Activity

The teacher will facilitate a Scrambled Words Game. The
teacher will show words that are scrambled and the students
will try to guess the words. The words will then be the key in
introducing the topic. The teacher may mount it in a card board
or use PowerPoint presentation.

The teacher will introduce the computer parts and its functions.
The teacher may bring a live object or photos to introduce the
topic.

An input device that lets you see your work as you go
2. Mouse
A pointing device used to make on-screen selections
3. Keyboard
An input device used to type instruction in the computer
4. System Unit
The case that contains CPU, memory, power supply, disc drives
and all other internal hardware.
5. Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
Regulates current that going into the computer.
6. Hard Disc- Located inside the system unit and used to store
programs and most data
7. CD/DVD Drive: Reads CD and DVD Discs
8. Speaker: Used to Produce audio output
9. Power Supply: Supply power to the different parts of
computer.
10. Motherboard: The main circuit board of the computer
11. CPU (Central Processing Unit)
The brain of the computer. responsible for all the processes
happening inside the computer

Mouse, Keyboard, Scanner,
Output Device:
Monitor, Speaker, Printer

Note: You can add more parts of the computer for further
knowledge.

The teacher will group the students into two, And Two pictures
are given to each group. Each group has two representatives to
discuss their assign pictures.  Students, will group themselves
into two.

2. What is the function of the part?
3. Is it an input or output device?
