ASSESSMENT 2 : Pitch Session (an idea)

Topic: Banning fast food in school

Introduction/Attention getter: Do you realise that fast food may cause significant illnesses such as
heart disease and tiredness? As we all know that fast food is a
highly popular meal in every country these days and virtually
everyone gets sick from it, and some even die from it?

Problem/Issues: Fast food lowers diet quality and gives unhealthy options,
particularly for children and adolescents, increasing their risk of
obesity. Fast food consumption has a severe impact not only on the
physical health of its consumers, but also on their mental health.
Sugar, fat, and other additives induce inflammation in the brain.
This has a deleterious impact on places such as the hippocampus,
which is important for the formation of new neurons. This also has
a negative impact on the ability to learn and form new neural
connections in the brain.

Proposal: So, what is the greatest strategy to help minimize this problem
among school students? Ladies and gentlemen, we should prevent
fast food from being served at school. That is an excellent solution
to the problem.

Solution: So, how does a school-wide ban on fast food work? To begin, school
officials must create a campaign to educate students about the
dangers of eating fast food for their health. This initiative is
particularly helpful in reducing fast food purchases among school
pupils. Following that, school officials should ask an experienced
lector to deliver a speech on this initiative. School officials can also
tell the government about the concern among pupils at their
school. As a result, the government will not take this matter lightly
and will work hard to find a solution.

Justification for the solution: So, as students consider the downsides of purchasing fast food,
they also consider their health and future, and students' attitudes
toward fast food will alter. They will never buy fast food again
because they believe that their future and health are more
important to them than fast food. The government's intervention
can help more school authorities to reduce fast food purchases
among school students since the government will utilise its power
to permanently solve this problem. The government's engagement
will help make kids aware of this serious situation. In this case,
school students will not buy fast food as they typically do.

Conclusion/Reinforce the proposal: So, it should be clear now junk food has major negative effect, that
why we need to take serious about the buying fast food among the
student and make the proper strategy to overcome this problem
because it will give a lot of negative impact for students.
