Self Evaluation Form Ai Master
Self Evaluation Form Ai Master
The purpose of this form is for you to assess that you have the required qualifications for the Master’s
programme in AI at Umeå University. The form provides complimentary information to your original
application. By providing us with additional focus to the core required courses for the Master in AI,
you will assist us in shortening the assessment time. Please upload this document together with
the rest of your application to your account at www.universityadmissions.se.
Requirements
In addition to the general requirements (a Bachelor’s degree and English language proficiency) you
need the following specific requirements to be eligible to the programme:
We ask you to provide a conversion from your local credits and ECTS credits considering that 60
ECTS corresponds to 1 year of full-time study. To convert your local credits to ECTS, you multiply
them with a conversion factor CF according as follows:
𝑛𝑛𝑢𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑚𝑚𝑚𝑚𝑚𝑚 𝑜𝑜𝑜𝑜 𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦𝑦 𝑥𝑥 60
𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶 =
𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡𝑡 𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐𝑐
Example: if your 3-year Bachelor degree corresponds to 120 credits in your system, then:
3 𝑥𝑥 60
𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶 = = 1.5
120
This means that a 4-credit course in your system 4 x CF = 6 ECTS
