Abstracts taken from the Awakening the Soul Book.

Like Tarot, Oracle cards are another powerful tool used for guidance and direction, self-

realisation, discovering the “unconscious living” (what we are manifesting and hence

creating), and most importantly seeing an overall picture of one‟s life as it appears “now”,

providing valuable messages for personal growth and healing.

Life is so precious. Once in a while it just takes a few words or some form of art, to inspire

and motivate us, to truly help us back on track, to allow ourselves to courageously walk

forward in life, to see clearly again.

Art is an expression of my Soul, whether it be drawing, painting, photography or sculpturing.

It inspires, motivates, heals, expresses, brings joy, clarity, and is the voice of my Being, my

Soul, my Heart, and Mind. For me it also is a form of language from a Higher Source...the

Universe.

This inspired me to create my own set of oracle cards based on the book itself “Awakening

the Soul”.

In Life, with heartache, pain and losses comes clarity, growth, understanding, wonderful

Blessings, new beginnings and surprises. We all have our own journey. We just sometime,

when we are not in our highest point, able to see the Blessings of life constantly flowing into

our lives.

My deep passion for helping people heal and bringing hope into their lives is a result of my

own traumatic and frightening experiences that led me to awaken my soul to a deeper level of

peace within my own life.

Through my own journey and in guiding and healing others, I have seen the most amazing

Miracles in life. It is Magical!! When we finally surrender, and follow our True guidance, we

receive that which our Heart and Soul dearly yearns and desires. One valuable lesson I have

learnt in life, Acknowledge your own feelings and emotions for without doing so, you are not

honouring your own soul. Emotions play a key role in how life unfolds. When we spend most

of our time not acknowledging and listening to our body‟s emotions, feelings, we are denying

ourselves the true existence of life. For without our soul there is no life. So start listening to

your inner truth, listen to what your body is telling you, how you are feeling, and most of all

express your emotions in a productive way...this is the start of Honouring your true self, your

true essence of your being, in honouring the very nature of Life...........that was one of my

own lessons ……….

 Instructions on how to use the oracle cards:

There are various methods of using oracle cards. It is important though that you use a method

that resonates best with you. Let your guidance show you. However for the purpose of this

booklet and in helping those who are starting out and need some guidance, here are some

very simple yet very powerful and effective methods that I have used over the years, to bring

you clarity, insight, guidance, understanding and awareness.

1.

Shuffle the oracle cards and think of a question. If you have more than one question you can

do it for each question. Or you can simply ask an open question such as “What is it that I

need to know today about the situation/this week/this month?”.......

The oracle card you pick will reveal very important messages. If however you wish for

greater clarity you can pick more cards. Throughout the day look at the oracle card/s so keep

it in a sacred place that you are able to look at it. Ensure those who wish to give you their

interpretation behind the meaning of the oracle card, are encouraging and helpful. It is

important to filter that which does not resonate with you.

Before going to bed look at it and then reflect upon it. I leave oracle cards lying around for

the energies to permeate throughout the home. It is amazing what messages come through

when I look at them throughout the day. Sometimes I will leave oracle cards, one of many

guided divinations, everywhere and each has its own specific message and yet together tell an

amazing story.

To this day it amazes me how the universe communicates with us. Universe continuously

converses with us. It is up to us to let Universe in to our hearts and trust that the process of

how life unfolds will only serve us best in the long run. Trust is such a powerfull tool.

Pick two oracle cards and place them one on the left being the past, and on the right the

oracle card that represents the future... this layout gives you an overview of what has

happened in the past and what is yet to come in the future. However you can use the layout

past, present being the middle oracle card and future. In this layout you also are made aware

of what is happening at the present time or what is to be done at the present time depending

on what your question is. This method is amazing if you want a quick reference of where you

were in the past, where you are now and were you are heading in the future. It also gives you

an overall view of past events are still having an effect on the present and thus, on the future,

and what you can still work on to resolve, heal or understand.

The Celtic Cross Spread: There are a variety of styles to choose from. Go by your guidance.

There are many resources out there to choose from in the type of spread you prefer.

 Dream Method:

For Meditation simply hold the Oracle card.

Note you could carry the Oracle Card that you wish to work with or hold onto it where

ever you wish to go.

Another amazing method to use when wishing to understand, gain clarity, or seeking for an

answer, especially when you have not been able to see clearly the signs or messages

throughout certain period of time, is to pick an oracle card either a random oracle card or a

specific card that draws you regarding a particular situation or wish you desire, and place it

under the pillow.

Make aware of and note your dreams in the coming days and there will be an answer revealed

for there will be messages within the dream that will help guide you, or give you answers to

your questions.

Dreams play an amazing role. In a deep restful period you are without ego.( eg. Fear,

analytical….)

Usually you will find the signs presented to you become very repetitive and stronger each

time. They hold Answers. Also take note of signs presented to you throughout a certain

period of time thereafter the method has been applied.

 The year of 2008 Arc Angel Arial appears………..

One night a dear friend asked me for help regarding someone close to her, if she was going to

be alright after being diagnosed with breast cancer. This beautiful Angel, sometime in

Winter, (early July) appeared to me in my bedroom. Such brilliance, such magnificence, and

bearing wonderful news. I had to draw her. I called her White Angel: Bearer of Good News.

She emitted the most Purest Bright Light. The news was indeed wonderful and since I see her

when there is wonderful news coming to Bless me and those around me. She is 8th Arc

Angel?...........I later discovered she is in fact Arial. AriAL the Bearer of Wonderful

News……call upon her she is Amazing, Graceful and Incredible!!!....

We all go through pain and sufferings in our lives, face grief, some of us even trauma

and depression. Life is full of trials and tribulations and how we challenge life plays

an important role as to how far we come in life. For it is these challenges that tests

our strengths and strengthen our weaknesses, and more so forces us to stop, reflect

and ask ourselves where are we now, and do we like what we are experiencing or

feel, and where do we want to go in life from here? Some hiccups in our lives forces

us to stop and look at our surrounding, and ourselves. We are forced to make a

decision as to what we need to do to change if we wish to change but we cannot do it

alone. We need the support of loved ones around us, guidance, and therapeutic

modalities of some sort to make certain changes and to get us through the adversities

of life.

Life is constantly presenting us with unexpected challenges. How we handle them is

the key to our happiness and success. If we know the tools and strategies available to

us, to resolve conflict, disperse anxiety and remove negative influences, we will be

stronger mentally, emotionally and physically.

Regardless of how you overcome your pain and sufferings, the most amazing feeling

is seeing the Light ….even seeing a glimpse of that Light as it brings us hope, and

the realisation that things eventually do turn out ok or far better than we had

to make considered and appropriate changes, we are in fact gaining a better

feelings of wellbeing, which flow on to others.

It really takes a lot of encouragement, support and energy to be able to let go of the

pain we have experienced in life, and to be able to look at the pain and not just the

good experiences in life as positive attributes to becoming a stronger person. Our

experiences are the’ raw materials’ out of which we can shape our life. What we

build with them is up to us.
