Sora Maenya

“Blood and fear, the sweetest of smells.”

Sora Maenya is an elder annis hag and the iron fist of the
Daughters of Sora Kell. Her strength is legendary, and tales
speak of her endless appetite for flesh and souls. Sora
Maenya is particularly feared for her ability to imprison the
souls of her victims to their skulls for use as ingredients in
magic and defenses against intrusion.
Before her alliance with her sisters, she terrorized the
Eldeen Reaches. The opportunity for bigger, better and more
meaningful fights was the main reason she agreed to Teraza's
proposal.
Sora Teraza
“It is time to set this wheel in motion.”
Sora Teraza is an elder dusk hag and serves as the guiding
wisdom behind the coven. It was her proposal to unite and
found Droaam that prompted her sisters to join forces with
her. Appearing as an old, bent crone, she wears a hood pulled
down to her eyes to disguise her ruined eyes. Despite her
blindness, though, her prescience is such that she can
perfectly perceive her surroundings.
Like all dusk hags, Sora Teraza is driven by her visions.
She is always cryptic and strange, and her words do not
always benefit those who hear them. She often withholds
information from her sisters or shares secrets with enemies,
and only she could say why she does this. She merely says
what needs to be said in order to set events into motion.
Before she set out to convince her sisters to create
Droaam, she wandered the Demon Wastes in search of
ancient knowledge.
Sora Kell
The mother of the founders of the nation of Droaam is a
dangerous creature. Wielding power to rival even the rajahs
of the rakshasa, she has roamed the lands of Khorvaire and
the planes beyond since before the end of the Age of Demons
seeking mystical knowledge and true understanding of the
shape of all things. Her wanderings have lead to every corner
of existence, and many claim that she is in fact an aspect of
the Traveler itself.
Though spoken of in hushed whispers in myth, there has
not been a confirmed sighting of her in over a century. Some
believe that she is content to simply watch her daughters
come into greatness from afar. Others do not believe that a
being of such power could be content to simply watch the rise
of others, and they fear that she is working on a spell to shake
the planes themselves. Others believe that she became
trapped on a remote plane of existence such as Dal Quor,
Kythri, or Xoriat, and that she merely bides her time until she
can return to Eberron once more.
