INTRODUCTION
VisiLean offers a dedicated section for Managing your Constraints on the Project

Constraints are any issues/challenges that will potentially hinder you and your teams from executing
a job on-site for when it is planned. Constraints can be recorded in multiple ways on VisiLean:

• Constraints are mapped during Look-ahead Planning for Tasks coming up

• Constraints mapped must be reviewed as the Task comes closer to execution, and only included for
working on-site when the Constraint has been closed and the Task has been made ready.

• Constraints can also be raised for Tasks in-progress that have hit an issue on-site that
needs resolution
• Constraints raised for work-in-progress must be cleared in order for the Task to be completed at the job-
site successfully.
