A.1.1 GENERAL
HEADBOXES
TOP LAYER HYDRAULIC HEADBOX with its attenuator
This will give the possibility for future production increase of 20% considering the same
retention and headbox consistency.
Header : 16 0.20
Nozzle : 4 0.10
B.4.1 MANIFOLD
Function Carries stock from inlet piping across the machine and
disperses stock to tube bank.
Construction Stainless steel 304L and stainless steel 316L for all part
in contact with the pulp.
Parabolic shape
Function Allows the volume of flow through the edge tubes in the
tube bank to be manually regulated.
Flow can be locally from 160% to 60% of the nominal
flow. So to supply solution to any edge issue may occur
Position for the edge flow control system will be
provided

Equipment Location At edges of tube bank. System is inside oversized edge
tubes.
B.4.7 LAMELLAS
Function Optimize final stock flow from the slice. Maintaining the
optimized micro-turbulence created on the turbolence
generator up to the slice lip while pulp is accelerating to
machine speed.
Equipment Location Two are supplied: on the front and on the back pond
side in the sheet region.
Feature Replaceable.
Equipment Location Between the tube bank and the slice body knuckle.
Eccentric outer knuckle attaches tube bank to slice
body.

E.4 COMMISSIONING
At the end of the start-up period, when the supplied paper machine
and associated auxiliary system have been put into regular
operation, the start-up specialist and the authorized personnel of the
Purchaser will jointly sign a Commissioning Certificate. Should, for
reasons not depending in the Seller’s responsibility, the regular
production of the equipment not be attained at the end of the start-up
period, then a commissioning, or acceptance test will have to be
carried out, as regulated by the relevant clauses of the Contract. In
