Admission to a 4-year degree programme of study at MUAST for the March/April and August 2021 intakes, a student
must have the following qualifications in the ZIMSEC / CAMBRIDGE examinations or equivalent:
All applicants MUST have 5 (five) O` Level passes including English Language and Mathematics and any three of the

FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY Bachelor of Science Honours 2‘A’ Level passes in Biology and any one of the following subjects:
in Animal Science and Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography or any other related subject.
(MAS) Applicants should be holders of a Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better. Applicants with a Pass
grade should have at least 2 years work experience in the relevant field.
(Note: where this degree has been awarded without classification, then evidence
will be required that performance has been equivalent to a good honours degree) Bachelor of Science Honours 2‘A’ Level passes in Biology / Agriculture and any one of the following subjects:
in Horticulture Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography or any other related subject
Or
c) Biological Sciences. Agronomists, Biotechnologists, Extension Specialist, Conservationist, Agropreneur
Applicants should be holders of a Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better. Applicants with a Pass
grade should have at least 2 years work experience in the relevant field.
Normally, evidence will be required to show that candidates have performed
satisfactorily in courses in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Statistics.
Applicants whose previous experience is inadequate may be required to attend
selected undergraduate courses as occasional students towards qualifying for FACULTY OF AGRIBUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
admission to the MSc programme.
Bachelor of Science Honours in 2‘A’ Level passes including any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Accounts, Management of Business, Geography, Agriculture or any other related subjects.
An appropriate good Honours degree from a recognised University in the
MSc. Degree in following:
Supply Chain Management Or
Applicants with relevant Diploma from a recognized institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better. Applicants with a Pass grade should have at least 2
Crop Protection- a) Crop Science years work experience in the relevant field.
(MCP) b) Horticulture Bachelor of Science Honours 2‘A’ Level passes including any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Accounts, Management of Business, Geography, Agriculture or any other related subjects.
c) Biological Sciences in Development Sciences and Or
Policy Applicants with relevant Diploma from a recognized institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better. Applicants with a Pass grade should have at least 2
years work experience in the relevant field.
Interested Zimbabwean applicants may collect application forms upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US $10 (Postgraduates) and US$5 (Undergraduates) or its equivalence at the prevailing bank rate. International applicants can pay US$70 or its equivalence at the prevailing bank rate. All can be done at any ZB Bank Branch nationwide. The
