Dear All,

As we check and found multiple servers windows update are stopped, will require to install below
listed KB and certificate on all respective servers(2k8,2k8R2,2k12-2k19) before installing workload
security agent.

REQUIRED MICROSOFT SECURITY

Windows 2003 Server KB2868626
Windows Server 2008 (32-bit and 64-bit) KB2763674, KB4474419
Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) KB3033929, KB4490628, KB4474419
Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) KB3033929, KB4490628, KB4474419

Request you to follow the below mentioned steps before installing workload security agent .

1. Uninstall old AV by control panel and then by following SCUT Tool process.
2. Uninstall Endpointbasecamp by following below process :

1. Disable EDR on Vision one EI app first


-on EI app> look for agent > tick box > click on disable—Share us the Hostname to check and
follow the steps 1

2. On Agent > create C:\temp folder and extract the zip file there
3. Run command prompt as Administrator and change directory to location of the tool:
4. Run this command: XBCUninstaller.exe XBCUninstallToken.txt

Check if it's completely removed, the following should be removed:


1. Files and folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp
2. Service: Trend Micro Endpoint Basecamp
3. Task in Windows Task Scheduler : Trend Micro Endpoint Basecamp
4. Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TrendMicro\
TMSecurityService

3. Delete trend micro related folders from Program Data/ Program Files/ Program Files (x86).
4. Install listed KB and certificate on all respective servers(2k8,2k8R2,2k12-2k19)(

5. Restart the Server.
6. Install workload security agent by run as administrator.
7. Open CMD as administrator and Activate the Server by run the below command for
Windows : dsa_control -a dsm://agents.deepsecurity.trendmicro.com:443/
"tenantID:21EB030D-4E6E-2214-DA6E-BE2512046154" "token:36C7AEE1-4653-D2F2-B1A9-
BECF4D39B077"
Note: 1) For Linux/Unix has different setup and Activation Key, So please let us know the Server
OS,BIT, Kernel Version,Hostname,Application role,RAM,CPU. so we can share the setup as per the
OS.
2) Request you all to share the Application Exclusion(DIR,Process Full Path, File Extension before
installing Workload Security Agent. Attach reference file.
