Regular and Irregular Verb
A Regular verb is any verb whose conjugation follows the typical pattern, or one of the typical
patterns, of the language to which it belongs.
Regular verbs from their past and past participle forms by adding -ed .
Examples:
The past form and the past participle form do not end in ed and may have different spelling.
Examples:
Past Tense- a tense expressing an action that has happened or a state that previously accepted
Future Tense- a tense expressing an action that has not yet happened or a state that does not
yet exist
Progressive Tense- a tense that is used to refer to an action or a state that is continuing to
happen
Past Perfect Tense- tense used to show that an action took place once or many times before
another point in the past
