At the end of semester, the student can:

1. Discuss the history of internet, principles and process of webpage design.


2. Use a text editor to construct the basic HTML and CSS structure for a webpage.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

1. There will be at least 3-4 quizzes for each term. Short quizzes shall be given after every topic as time permits.
2. There will be at least 4 lab activities for each term.
3. There will be one major exam every term. No make-up examination shall be given for any missed exams or quizzes without valid reasons.
4. Attendance will be checked and active participation through recitation is also required.
GRADING AND ASSESSMENT

• The students will be evaluated based on their performance on the exercises that will be given to them. Each student should at least comply with the subject
requirements and passed the quizzes and major examinations given within the duration of the semester.
• The following grading system will be used for Computer programming tech. 4 subject for the semester.

GRADING SYSTEM:

A. Class Standing (70%) B. Term Exams (30%)

Oral Recitation/Seatwork 10% Midterm/Final

Laboratory Activities 20%

Project 25%

Class Policy:

▪ Students are subject to be dropped if he/she will exceed with the maximum of seven (7) absences without proper notice or reasonable excuse letter from the
parents with the adviser’s approval.
▪ Students are expected to arrive promptly at the beginning of class. Three accumulated late will be considered as an absence. Arrival of more than 15 minutes
will be considered as absent.
▪ Students are responsible from any lessons missed due to tardiness or absences.
▪ Exercises, assignments, and projects are expected to be submitted on or before their due date. Late submissions will be lowered the points per day.
▪ Absences may be excused for medical (with physician/parents’ note) or either emergency reasons.
