Introduction:
In this topic, we are going to determine the average weight of students in grade 11 &
grade 10 students of Santiago Catholic School. After the data was gathered, we use tables to
calculate the data.
I. Data
From grade 11-(49,65,78,60)
From gred 10-(82,45,43,46,43,54)

V. Questions
1. Compare the mean obtained in step 1 to that of the mean upon increasing the
size of population.
The mean obtained in step one smaller than the mean that was obtained
upon increasing the size of the population. It means that when you increase
the size of the population the mean also increase.
2. Describe the average weight of the students using the point estimate.
The point estimate we obtained is 7.17 which means that the weight of the
students is low or underweight.
3. Using the standard deviation of the mean of the means describe or interpret
the weights of your group.
The standard deviation that we obtained is lesser than the mean we obtained
in first step by 5.07. It means that the overall weight of students in grade 11
& grade 10 was normal weight of a person.
VI. Conclusion
On the average, our sample mean is 56.5 which is normal or the standard weight of a
person.
