Speaking of a habit that I really want to get rid of, I would like to talk
about my sleeping routine.
Body paragraph 1:

What it is & What effects it has on your life

When I was child, I used to go to bed quite early since my parents made me do so =>
Gradually, it had become my habit until I went to work 7 years ago
Since then, I have been staying up very late on a daily basis => I always wake up tiringly
on the next day as my energy is not fully replenished
Effects

 Several times when I really got up so late => missed my bus to work => I was
scolded and almost lost my job
 long-term sleep deprivation virtually pushed my mental well-being to the verge of
collapse

Speaking of a habit that I really want to get rid of, I would like to talk about my
sleeping routine
.

Truth be told, when I was child, I used to go to bed quite early since my parents made me
do so.
Gradually
, it had become my habit until I went to work 7 years ago. Since then, I have been staying
up very late
on a daily basis
to surf the internet or to stream trendy series on Netflix, which really takes away too
much of my sleeping time. As a consequence, I always wake up tiringly on the next day
as my energy is not fully
replenished
. I remember several times when I really got up so late that I missed my bus to work, and
you know, the result is
predictable
that I was
scolded
and almost lost my job. Plus, long-term sleep deprivation virtually pushed my
mental well-being
to the verge of collapse. Hence, I truly want to change this
detrimental habit
.

I have tried many ways to remove this bad habit and sleep early. However, all my efforts
were not quite successful, but recently, I consulted a friend and he suggested that I do
some yoga at around 9 pm. This measure had helped him overcome his
insomnia
before, so he hoped that it would work on me. Therefore, I signed up for a yoga class last
week to give it a try. The professional from the yoga center told me that doing yoga
frequently helps improve my sleep and puts me to sleep more easily.

To be honest, I am doing this in order to enhance my health since I acknowledge various


adverse effects
that lack of sleep has on my well-being. I will adopt the yoga skills soon and see if it can
help me solve my problem.
