Downloading License and Software from the Software

Download Center
Once your purchase order has been approved and the sales order issued, all files related to
your order are uploaded to the Qognify Software Download Center (SDC). The SDC is a
personalized online software delivery center that provides an easy, fast and secure access to
pure software orders.
Once the products and licenses you purchased have been uploaded to the SDC, you receive
an order notification email providing you with the user name and password and the link from
where to download the necessary files.

the links to the software installation files and licenses.
Figure 1-6: My Downloads Page

6. Click on the necessary link to download. Tip: the zip file includes the order number in
its file name. The zip file includes two files - one is the text file with the Product Key
number and the other is the license PDF document. The Qognify software download
files have the BAT extension.
7. Unzip the files, install software and activate your license. For more details, refer to
Site Activation chapter.
Licenses are treated as a central pool of licenses so you can freely move licenses between
Recorders (according to server limitations on throughput and storage) as long as the number
of licenses you bought is not being exceeded. View the current status of the license in the
Video Configurator.

IMPORTANT: Once activated, it is not possible to remove functionality or transfer it to a

different site.
