ABSTRACTION
Our topic for today is about composing an excellent
resume.
Resume originated from a French word which means
“summary”. It is a concise document.

What do we put in our resume? Students will listen and interact with the
class discussion.
We highlight our education, work experience, and
other qualifications such as your skills and strengths.
A resume is an enclosure to an application or cover
letter.

There are three (3) formats of resume, namely:


1. Chronological Resume
- Work history is listed in reverse order,
starting with the recent job and working
backwards.
2. Functional or Skill-based Resume
- Focuses on skills and strengths that are
important to employers.
3. Combination Resume
- Blends the flexibility and strength of the
other two types of resume.

The teacher will present a sample resume, illustrating


its structure and organization and will emphasize the
key details in crafting a resume.

APPLICATION
This time, let’s put your learning into practice. Get a
1 whole sheet of paper, we will be writing a draft
resume.
The teacher will remove the posted sample resume in
the board.

We will be writing your resume together, The students will write a draft resume,
