Innovation
Silver RX Drivers By refining our computer-aided Finite Element Analysis (FEA) we have developed new ways to shape our core driver material C-CAM in the cause of even greater fidelity. C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) is very light and very strong and so is ideal for our driver cones, but as weve discovered, it can be made to perform ever more efficiently and effectively. About RX Tweeters The new C-CAM gold dome tweeter now extends high frequency performance to beyond 35 kHz, enabling the full potential of current and future wide-band HD audio and cinema formats to be realised. A newly damped rear chamber provides greater control for a smoother more accurate response.

About RX Bass and Mid-Range Drivers Advanced FEA simulations have also helped the process of fine tuning the RST (Rigid Surface Technology) C-CAM mid-range/bass drivers, originally created for our celebrated Gold Reference speakers and now incorporated by the Silver RX range. Their super-stiff dimpled profiles are now more resistant to break-up under high drive conditions and so produce a wider range of purer frequencies. Each drivers rigid, non magnetic cast polymer chassis is vented to improve airflow cooling and to equalise pressure around the driver motor, resulting in the ability to play louder and cleaner.

Bolt-through Driver Design Single bolt-through driver fixings have the dual effect of improving cabinet rigidity while further reducing vibration at the driver/cabinet interface. By this innovative method, drivers are mounted on a single tensioned through-bolt, which is secured to the back of the cabinet. The bolt not only acts as a rigid cabinet brace to reduce box colouration, it removes the need for conventional driver fixings as well, effectively decoupling the driver and baffle to eliminate another source of unwanted resonance. The result is a more fluid communication of mid-range frequencies, and with the absence of front driver fixings, a cleaner more refined overall appearance especially in tandem with RXs invisible magnetic grille location.

HiVeII (High Velocity) Reflex Port Developed for the flagship Gold Signature range, the HiVeII reflex port is shaped to have the same effect on airflow as a gun-barrel on a bullet. Rifled groves inside the port help to accelerate the flow and reduce turbulence, so that air moves in and out of the port more efficiently for a faster more dynamic bass response.

RX1
The diminutive RX1 is configured to offer an impressively natural, rhythmic sound in a beautifully compact and practical form. Standing at just 312mm tall, the RX1 will deliver faithful crystal-clear definition and power from just about anywhere. Perfect for music and film sound where space is at a premium, the RX1 provides elite Monitor Audio quality to refresh and enliven your system.

RX1AV-12 The ideal RX1 multi-channel system utilises RX1s and the RX centre for the front channels, with the discreet RX-FX speakers in the surround role; all underpinned by the awesome RXW-12 subwoofer.

RX2
The larger RX2 is designed as an audiophile compact 2-way speaker, having the efficiency and bandwidth of a much larger speaker, while being easier to position around the home. It offers extended high frequencies to resolve hidden detail, coupled with immense dynamic headroom and bass depth, so that all the delicacy and drama of your favourite music and film sound is revealed.

RX6
The elegant floor-standing RX6 design places the new wider bandwidth RX tweeter in concert with freshly designed 6 C-CAM bass and bass/mid drivers to form a balanced twoand-a-half way system. Separate chambers are used within the enclosure to provide differential tuning for the drivers, generating higher efficiency and exceptional low frequency extension. For such a slim, easy-to-position speaker, the innovative RX6 produces an extraordinarily wide bandwidth, enhanced with a natural tonality that breathes life into every format even HD audio. An adjustable base plinth is supplied for added stability.

RX8
A feat of ergonomic brilliance by our design team has engineered the greater poise and power of a large three-way loudspeaker into the svelte RX8. Its ultra-slim front profile conceals a deeper cabinet, which provides the volume needed for seismic levels of bass from dual 6 bass drivers. A single 6 bass/mid driver delivers naturally vibrant midrange sound, while a newly developed C-CAM gold dome tweeter smoothly extends high frequency performance to a point way beyond the upper limit of the audible spectrum. Sheer control, open dynamics and wide bandwidth illuminate the sound of the RX8: a very big speaker disguised as a very slender one.

RX-FX
Its widely understood that the sound of surround TVs cannot compete with the excitement of a properly designed and equalised home theatre system. But great sound comes at the expense of living space until now. The wall-hugging RX-FX surround speaker reconciles the problem by providing a convincing, enveloping timbre-consistent surround sound that places you on the edge of your seat and at the heart of the action. Discreet enough to be flush-mounted on side or rear walls, the RX-FX design will blend with the system and your dcor so completely youll wonder why you ever thought of compromise. Its also immensely flexible sonically, offering direct or diffuse sound effects at the flick of a switch.

RXcentre
The role of a centre-channel speaker is to reproduce up to 60% of a movie soundtrack, including the critical dialogue content. Yet by the sound of some rival systems, surprisingly little time is devoted to its design. The exceptional RX centre proves the old adage that you get out what you put in. Its been very finely calibrated to match the dynamics and timbre of other RX speakers for a wonderfully open, detailed and seamless front sound stage in any RX system configuration. Weve tuned the RX centres multi-driver components to deliver the optimal combination of sonic virtue and size, so that the velvet subtlety of whispers and the explosive force of action scenes are conveyed with equal priority by a compact design thats perfect for the role.

RXW-12
Multi-channel film sound mix relies on the profound structural underlay of a properly designed sub-bass engine. Not only can it dredge frighteningly deep and dramatic frequencies from the mix, especially from HD audio soundtracks, it also adds a holistic solidity to the sound, helping you to suspend your disbelief: a vital component in the enjoyment of surround sound A/V systems. The surprisingly compact RXW-12 active subwoofer is equipped by our engineers to turn your RX system (and others) truly seismic.

Using the latest switch mode power conversion techniques, the RXW-12s 500 watt Class D amplifier provides enough power to control with brutal efficiency a newly designed 12 C-CAM driver, equipped with a double stack (two magnet) motor system and a massive 3 voice coil. The RXW-12s rigid, sealed 25mm (1) MDF enclosure is front-loaded firstly because it promotes the fastest, deepest bass down to 20Hz and secondly for ease of installation. Wherever you place it, top mounted controls allow for the fine adjustment of level, turnover and other parameters at the sub. For added convenience, a 12V trigger provides power syncing with your AV receiver.
