 Alan: the victim.

 Anne: Alan’s sister. Rescues him.

 Andrew: Alans fake best friend.

 Harek: Andrew’s boss.

 Lily: Anne’s best friend. Helps Anne to find and rescue

Alan.
 Scene 1:Midnight Scream
Setting: McRoy House
Directions: Alan McRoy, a tall boy with messy jet-black hair
and glasses. Anne a bright girl with blonde hair
tied in two pigtails. She is clever. Andrew is
Alan’s best friend. He spreads the rumor that
Alan has died. Anne refuses to believe this.
Everyone grieves his death.
Sound Sad music
Effect:
Light effect: red flashing lights
Alan: Ahhh!!!!!
Screamed in the middle of the night.
Anne: What’s wrong!
Came running and panting upstairs. Alan was
nowhere to be seen.
Mom: Anne, what happened!
Stood with Anne
Anne: Alan screamed but he's nowhere to be seen.
Mom: Look at the state of his room!
Came downstairs. Everyone had gathered
because they were all scared and confused.
Andrew: Alan has died!
Anne: No, no. He hasn’t died!
 Scared and confused.
Andrew: I am sorry, but there is nothing anyone can do
about it. You’ll just have to accept it.
Patting her affectionately
Anne: No…. No! You’ll see, you’ll all see.
Shouting and tears running down her cheeks
Person 1: He was such a good child!

Person 2: Always helped everyone around him.
Person 3: He was so caring towards people and animals!
Andrew: Shame he is gone.
expressionless face
Anne: He’ll never leave our hearts besides I am going
to find him and bring him back home!
Storms out of the room, her feelings mixed.
 Scene 2:The Truth
Setting: Hideout
Directions: Andrew gets location of safe out of Alan.
Sound Suspenseful music
Effect:
Light Effect: Yellow lights
Andrew leaves. Arrives at hideout.
Andrew: Sir, is the prisoner secure in the prison?
Harek: Yes.
Andrew: When should we strike?
Harek: We must wait for everyone to calm down and
stop looking for him, so we can get in and get
out unseen.
Andrew: Where is all his fortune kept sir?
Harek: We are going to get that out of him obviously.
Goes to Alan
Andrew: Hi, best friend.
Sarcastically
Alan: Save it Andrew. I thought you were my friend, I
trusted you.
Mad and frustrated
Andrew: So, we know you are rich, where is all your
fortune kept?
Alan: Why should I tell you?
Andrew: O come on! Otherwise, you know what will
happen.
Alan: No, don’t do that.
Andrew: So….
Alan: it’s in the safe at …...
Harek: Andrew!!!
Andrew: Yes, sir!
Harek: What are you doing? Did you get any
information out of that guy?
Andrew: Yes!
Harek: then let’s go.
 Scene 3:The Great Search
Setting: Street, Alan’s house
Directions: Anne’s friend helps her. Andrew and Harek look
for Alan’s safe in Alan’s house.

Anne: Oh! I am so confused.

Lily: Oh, didn’t recognize you there, Anne!
Anne: Hi Lily, can you help me?
Lily: Yeah sure! What do you need help with?
Anne: Alan got kidnapped, at least that is what I think.
This is the map where there have been many
cases of kidnapping lately. So, I figure that
maybe kidnappers’ hideout or something is at the
center of all these cases.
Lily:: I think you are right.
Anne: Okay, then what are we waiting for? Let’s go.
rushed over to the decided location.
Harek and Andrew arrive at Alan’s house.
Harek: Okay Andrew, we reached his house.
 hiding behind a nearby bush, looking at the
house and observing it
Andrew: I don’t think anyone is in. It was a good idea to
strike early after all. And who suggested it? Me!
Harek: Me! Okay, okay fine whatever. Just Hurry up!
Andrew: Got it!
Unlocks the door after a fair few tries.
Harek: Hurry!!!
Andrew: Ahhh!!
Straining to open the door.
Andrew and Harek went around the rooms in
search of a safe but there was no safe. Both
started arguing and decided to check his office.
Andrew had been with Alan, pretending to be his
friend, so he knew Alan’s workplace. Both
headed there.
 Scene 4:The Great Twist
Setting: Hideout, Office building
Directions: Anne and lily found the hideout. Think it is the
wrong place. Alan and Andrew look for Alan’s
safe in his office.
Light Yellow light on person speaking

Sound Eerie music
Effects:
Anne: We made it!
Lily: Look at the state of this place. There are bars and
booby traps everywhere. This is probably the right
place.
They opened the door after finding a lever, went
inside and to their surprise found nothing. It had
been abandoned.
Lily: What should we do now?
Anne: We need to come up with other possible hideout
locations.
Both kept searching for clues around the area.
Lily: Anne, I just remembered that I saw a creepy place
a few days ago while I was out for a drive on the
outskirts of the city.
Anne: We should probably check it out.
Rushed there.
Anne: Look there is a broken strap of a watch in the long
grass on the side of the trail leading to the road. It
looks familiar and looks the same as her Alan’s
watch.
Lily: Should we go back to look further inside we might
have missed something.
Andrew and Harek reached the office building.
Harek: How will we get in?
Andrew: By this!!!

They swiped the card at the entrance security gate
and entered the building.
Andrew: I have visited this office multiple times and I
know this place like the back of my hand.
Harek: Come on let's quickly check for safety.
Andrew: There is nothing here.
Harek: So, let's just go back to Alan.
 Scene 5:The Happy Ending
Setting: Hideout
Directions: Anne and lily rescue Alan. Andrew and Harek trap
them but not for long.
Sound Suspenseful music
Effect:
Light Effect: Faded red lights
On the other hand, Lily and Anne kept searching.
Anne: We’ll need a torch.
Opening door
Lily: Look! There is a torch. I hope it works!
Anne: Look what I found? There is something on the floor.
Lily: Oh! Let’s try to open it.
They opened the trap door and found stairs leading
down below. There was nothing but darkness and
there was a little light coming in from a broken
window. They started descending the stairs slowly.
They noticed a silhouette of a person tied to a chair
with his head hanging low.
Anne: Alan! Is that you?
Alan: Who is it? Anne!
Anne: Yes, it’s me Alan.
Alan: How did you get here? And who is it with you?
Anne: It’s Lily. It’s a long story we need to get out of here
before kidnappers comes back.
Alan: Help me out of here? My hands and feet are tied.
Lily and Anne tried to untie Alan. After some struggle
they managed to untie him. Both helped Alan up and
started walking towards the main door. As they
approached the top of the stairs, they heard the car
engine revving to a stop outside.
Anne: What should we do? I think the bad guys are outside.
Lily: Same!
Anne: Look at the rope on the floor.
She lept to grab the rope to use as a weapon. As she
pulled it one of the booby traps activated knocking
both Harek and Andrew out.
The three of them frighteningly ran towards the door.
On the way to their utter surprise, they saw Andrew
lying unconscious on the floor.
Anne: Now it all makes sense that’s why Andrew was trying
to fake Alan’s best friend and how he tried to make
me believe that Alan was dead.
